You walk about so confident
And your hair falls perfectly
Your face is something special
And you look at things so easily
How did you learn to do it
To only see the good
Because I'm stuck in a canyon
Filled with things from childhood
There is a latter out
But I haven't found a reason
To pull myself back out
Into a world full of treason
But you see this place a different way
You believe there's good in everything
And you walked down the latter
And helped pull me out
Then you showed me all the trees
With delicate sun rays
But you never mentioned the people
That filled the world about
So I caught on to what you meant
When you said the world was great
You didn't mean the people
But the actual place itself
