They could finally be alone. Louis' mom was at work and all of his sisters were gone somewhere, so they had the house all to himself. He had texted Harry to come over with a winky face and a heart emoji a half an hour ago, getting a reply 20 minutes later that said he was on his way.

Now, Louis isn't freaking out. No, he's not. Okay, maybe he is. Today was the day they were finally going to . . . you know. He is currently running around the house, trying to snatch any candles he could find so he can make this night even more romantic. Louis had gone to the store the day before to buy a dozen roses, only to pluck the petals out so he could drape them all over the bed. He saved one rose, though, so he could give it to Harry when he entered the house.

The house smelled like cinnamon, one of Louis' favorite scents and he hopes that Harry likes it too. He was cooking them dinner, too, which was a shocker. Louis never cooks because his mom is afraid he's going to burn the house down like he almost did last time. It's not his fault that he didn't see the napkin by the stove. He could see that the steak was close to being ready, the meat a dark brown and juice marinating at the bottom of the pan. Louis was also cooking some white rice for the side.

Louis rushes upstairs to where his bedroom is, quickly checking over his outfit once again. He was wearing a plain black button up that was snug around his waist, his curves showing. Instead of wearing dress pants - because he didn't want to look too formal - he just ended up putting on some black skinny jeans.

"You look great, Louis." He breathes, talking to himself as he looks in the mirror. His eyes slip over to his expensive cologne that was sitting on his night stand, decided to spray himself one more time. You can never smell too good. Suddenly, the sound of the bell ringing echoes throughout the entire house, scaring Louis insanely. Before the boy runs down the stairs, he looks at himself one last time and attempts a wink that just ends up with him blinking.

He takes deep breaths once he makes it downstairs, staring at the door for a while before the doorbell rings again and it reminds him that Harry is standing outside in the cold. Louis quickly opens the door, revealing a pink nosed Harry. He beckons him inside, a small smile on his face because he thought Harry looked adorable. "Bonjour, Harry." he says, pulling the green eyed boy closer to him and giving him a kiss.

Harry giggles and Louis' heart clenches, "Bonjour, Louis." The french boy slips his jacket off of his shoulders and hangs it on the coat rack that was beside the door. "You house smell delicious." Harry compliments, and even though he hears him talk everyday, Louis thinks he can never get enough of his weak English.

Before Louis could thank him, the oven bell dings. "Oh, that's the steak! You can come to the kitchen with me so I can serve you some." he tells Harry, taking his large hand into his own so he can lead him. Once they reach the kitchen, Louis lets go of his hand so he can put on some oven mitts. He lets Harry watch behind him as he opens the hot oven and take out the even hotter steak, placing it on the empty stove so he doesn't burn the counter top.

Harry grabs two plates from the cabinet while Louis grabs a fork so he can put a piece of steak on Harry's plate, scooping some rice too that was way done before the meat. Once their plates are full, Louis starts walking towards the dining room, Harry following closely behind him.

Not only did Louis place candles in his bedroom for later, but he also put some on the dining table so it would be like a cheesy scene from a movie. He can hear Harry gasp from behind him, and he smiles as he balances his plate on one hand so he can grab Harry's hand again to lead him to his seat. The dining room light was dim so the majority of the light was coming from the candles, the small fires flickering as they sit down.
