39. Goodbye

I guess I hadn't told Luke everything when I said I lived in France, not that it was a lie.

I was born in Australia, Adelaide to be exact but Ana and I had spent the last 4 years in France, because her father was french.

Ever since her parents got divorced her dad moved back to France and asked her to move in with him to which she agreed.

But her dad is basically my father so when they asked me if I wanted to join them I also agreed after getting permission from my mom.

She was stressed enough with her work anyway so I was guessing she was quite happy with the news.

But anyhow we agreed to finish our high school in France and go back to Australia afterwards.

Speaking of Australia I was so anxious to go back, I had left all the bad memories back there in hopes they would be gone when I came back.

And my mother, well I have seen her maybe 6 times in 4 years since I left. I don't blame her though, it's been rough for her.

As for Ana's mother they had a admirable bond, which made me the tiniest bit jealous since I didn't have a relationship like that with my mom.

I sighed taking one last glance at the house I had stayed at for these last 4 years.

"Goodbye." I whispered to nothing before I closed the door.

"Are you ready?" Ana asked standing by the car.

"Yeah." I smiled.

Ana and I waved one last time at her father before we drove off to the airport.
