Just as Luke sent the text he saw Elizabeth's page refresh. A new tweet came up.

Me: oh god no, I'm alive

Luke: but Ana's tweet

Me: I'll explain in a second

Luke: you have no idea how worried I was

Luke: I missed you so much

Me: I missed you too Luke, and I really think it's time we meet

Luke: I think we will soon enough..

Me: what do you mean?

Luke: you'll see

Luke: but please explain?

Me: right, get comfortable because this is the first and only time I will ever tell anyone my lifestory

Luke: I already feel honored

Me: don't be, it's not a happy story

Luke: no matter what I'll always be here

Me: good to know

Luke: now go ahead

Me: So, my mom and I have never had a good bond but she's been there for me. Well I've already mentioned I moved back to Adelaide a few weeks ago. When I got back I immediately went to visit my mom.

Me: something was off I noticed that when I saw her face in the first time in a year. She looked tired, more than she usually did.

Me: she finally told me what was wrong a week later, when I found her by the toilet throwing up blood. Uh she admitted that she was sick but I realized that she was way sicker than she told me. She had lungcancer, it had already spread around in her body. To say it shortly, the cancer was stronger than my mom.

Me: the night I texted you when I was so drunk was the night after my mom was taken to the hospital. It was very clear she wasn't going to live long anymore.

Me: 12 days ago I went to go visit her but I wasn't aloud in the room. They wouldn't tell me anything what was happening. After a long hour they came outside, they kept apologizing and condoling me. My mom passed away in her sleep and when a nurse went to check up on her she noticed she was stone cold.

Me: so yeah, I'm still trying to figure this all out.

Luke: and what about your dad??

Me: uh well I guess I never mentioned him before huh. It's not really something I'm proud of, actually I'm ashamed but my dad has been in prison for the last 7 years.

Luke: I'm so sorry Elsie

Luke: I wish you didn't have to go through that alone, I swear when I meet you I'm going to hug you so tight you forget all your sadness

Me: I love you
