"Is it true? Are you sure? He's coming back?" The girl beside me asked, leaning towards the other girl for a gossip.
The other girl shrugged, twisting a strand of her platinum blonde hair with her perfectly manicured fingers. "It's true, alright. He just got here a couple of days ago." Then in a moment, the eyes of the other girl flashed from side to side before leaning towards the girl, covering the side of her mouth and whispered, "It's been confirmed he lost his memories."
The girl looked aghast. "That's awful," she half-exclaimed but made sure her voice was toned down. For a second, she looked sad and averted her gaze to the floor. "He won't remember her."
Madeline rolled her eyes at her and clasped both of her hands together. "Darling, Roxy is thrilled about the news. I bet she's going to make a move the moment Jace steps on the campus. You know she has been head over heels for that guy."
The girl, which I don't know the name of, grunted in disgust. "Ugh, she's clinging to him because he was the only boy who turned her down and she thinks he was just playing 'hard to get'."And another gagging sound. For some reason, I am starting to like this girl. Seems like I'm not the one who's not praising the bitchy queen named Roxette.
