I followed behind Harry as he walked to the large neon lit building. He held the door open for me as I walked in immediately embracing the popcorn smell. I smiled as he placed his hand on the small of my back leading me to the ticket booth.
“I need to go to the bathroom real quick. Why don’t you decide on the movie, pick anything.” I nodded as he disappeared behind the hallway that I’m assuming led to the bathrooms. I turned back to the screen above the ticket booth that played a list of movies showing.
What do I pick to watch? We aren’t dating so I can’t pick a romantic movie. Action movie or scary movie? A scary movie suits any occasion. I finally decided on the new paranormal activity movie after switching back and forth on movies.
Harry returned from the restroom and stood next to me. “Did you decide on something?”
“Yeah, the new paranormal activity movie.” He gave a simple nod and walked up to the ticket booth. He asked the woman for our tickets and handed her his card. She printed out the tickets and handed them to him.
“Do you want some popcorn or a drink?” I nodded and followed him to the counter. A tall tan boy stood there. His hair was messy a bit and looked like he didn’t brush it, but it looked good on him. “Well, well, well, finally come to take a visit out of the dark.” The boy laughed.
Harry didn’t seem amused by the boys antics. “Just give me some popcorn and a large drink Zayn. I don’t have time for your shit mate.” I have never heard Harry use that sort of language before and it caught me off guard. I guess he isn’t as innocent as he seems. (*Spoiler)
The Zayn guy smirked and gathered everything Harry asked for. Harry scanned his card and waited to put his pin in. “Who is this?” He asked looking at me and then to Harry. Harry seemed to tense up a bit and the smile.
It wasn’t just a normal smile. It was honestly a little creepy to me. “Why don’t you go find us a seat Jamie.” He handed me my ticket and the popcorn. I nodded and left to find us a seat.
Harry POV
Of course we run into fucking Zayn! I sent Jamie off to find us a seat while I casually speak to Zayn. “So who is she Harry?” I think my grin I had on my face should have been enough for him without talking about it aloud.
“Just some new property I picked up.” He smiled and shook his head.
“What about that girl you worked with?” Zayn and I had been friends ever since I moved here. I convinced him to move here with me when we both left. We are alike and do the same things. Zayn lived in the camp with me for awhile and then decided to move out to the city.
“She is no longer with us. She wasn’t right either mate.” He nodded and an evil grin grew on his face. His tattooed arms reflected off of the glass. I looked away from it and then back up to his brown eyes.
“Well she looks like a good one Harry. I bet she will be a lot of fun, but she looks like she will put up quite a fight. Good luck with that one, I mean she could blow it for you.” I felt a little anger boil in me, but I quickly pushed it away.
Jamie will work; she isn’t like the rest of the girls. She does run track, but I have everything planned out if it starts to crash down. I sighed knowing I have taken up too much time here with Zayn. I respectfully shook his hand and said goodbye to him.
I don’t know how much longer I can control myself around her. I’ve been watching her all of the time and I can’t keep myself from her anymore. She probably can’t even tell it either. She really is innocent. I mean I can tell she is no virgin even though she would lie about it easily.
