(I just wanted to say thank you for reading this story. I didn’t think it would get so much attention like it has. The story has just begun! Are you guys ready to go back to school? I have college so it’s the least thing I want to go back to.

The song for this chapter is Say something by a great big world)

I’m running, I’m running as fast as my feet will carry me. I am pushing myself harder than I ever have in my entire running career. I can feel my mouth becoming dry and my heart pumping as fast as it will go. Each time my foot slams against the ground it makes me want to go faster.

I am gasping for air because the air is dry and crisp. The sun is burning into my skin and making beads of sweat roll down me. My body is overheating and collapsing, so I stop.  I bend down and hold onto my knees as I breathe in and out harshly.

My knees can hardly support me right now so I carefully let my body drop to the ground and lay down. I look up and watch the clouds move slowly above me. As I look to my left Harry is laying there beside me. When did he lay beside me?

He is drenched in sweat and his chest is heaving up and down like mine. His brown curls are pulled away from his face with a blue band. His white tank and shorts loosely cling to his skin. He smiles at me and I turn to face the sky again.

The sun has moved in front of my face making me squint my eyes. The tired boy next to me laughs and leans over me to block the light. His teeth are sparkling white and his eyes are brighter. He strokes my cheek with his thumb.

I can smell mint on his breath and faint cologne. He moves his entire body over mine making my heart push again. Then it slows down in the moment. My body is relaxing and calming down. His lips barely brush over mine before he smiles and stares at me.

He lifts himself up and holds out his hand. I take it and start to drag my body up.  “It’s time to get up.” He whispers. He moves his head and all I can see is the sun blinding me. I try to shut my eyes, but its all I can see. I close my eyes tightly and open them again.

There I realize it was a dream. My body was wet, so I looked down to see I wasn’t sweating. As I looked around I noticed my window was open and small rain droplets were running off the bottom. It had rained and blew in the window.

“Great.” I mumbled throwing the thin sheet like blanket off of me as I pulled on some dry clothes. I walked into the living room to find my mother and father dressed. My mother was searching around for something.

“So you decided to grace us with your presence?” My father joked and I stuck my tongue out with him. My mother shoved past me frantically searching for whatever it is she is looking for.  I held my thumb out in her direction and sat in the recliner.

“Your mother is looking for my watch.” He said and I did a silent ‘oh’.

“I found it Robert!” My mother groaned as she put it on my father’s wrist. “Now that you are ready, we can leave. Jamie, since you were not up we decided to have dinner with some of your fathers friends. You remember Mrs. Tracy.” I nodded remembering the over excited woman.

“Well we are going on their boat for the day. I didn’t figure you would want to go so I didn’t wake you. There are biscuits on the stove and I left you some cash for dinner. We will be back around 10 or so. Try not to come in late again.” I nodded as she grabbed her bag.

“Come on Diane!” My father shouted from the car. “I am on my way Robert, do not rush me!” I laughed as she shut the door leaving me alone.

I got up and walked to the kitchen to find the food she had left. Just as she had said they were in a pan on the stove. I grabbed on a quickly set it down when I felt how hard it was. Are these even real or edible to the least?
