Ch. 1 The Park

Rain's POV

"Kai, get up." I whined as I poked him with a stick I got out of now where. "Kaiiiii...come on! Wake uuuuppp." he just turned around on the couch and kept on snoring and sleeping. I groaned and threw the stick at his face. Still...snoring. I kicked him, slapped him, and even did the whipped-cream-on-the-hand-and-tickle-his nose-so-he-can-look-stupid trick! I flopped down on his stomach with my arms crossed and my lips pouted. I instantly came up with an idea! He always cares about me, soooo. I got some fake blood that I bought from Walmart on Halloween and a red pen. I sat down on the floor and drew a line with the red pen on the knee, to make it look like a cut. Then I dabbed the fake blood onto a cotton ball and dabbed my knee. Then I poured some blood onto my knee. I threw the bottle to who knows where and the pen too. "Ow!! Kai!! It hurts! Help!" I cried out. Kai instantly got up and looked around. When he saw me, his eyes widened and he carried me bridal style to the kitchen.

"How did this happen Rain?!?! You're bleeding for crying out loud!" He yelled at me.

"Oh I just got the fake blood and a red pen and dabbed it on my knee to make you wake up." I giggled. He just stopped and looked at me. Then I felt my butt on the hardwood floor! I rubbed my butt and looked at Kai who was going back to the couch. I ran towards him and jumped on his back. He stumbled a bit but then regained his balance and glared at me.

"What do you want now? I'm tired." I gave him a are-you-crazy look.

"I wanna go to the park. Please?"

"No. I'm still mad at you for what you did." He crossed his slightly muscular arms across his chest and narrowed his eyes at me through his brown bed hair. I did my famous puppy eyes and looked at his cream beard. I tried to hide my smile and giggled. "What?" I shook my head and said nothing. "Tell me now Rain."

"Nice beard." he looked confused for a bit and looked in the hall mirror. He glared at me and went to the kitchen to wipe off his beard. He came back still glaring at me and flopped down on the couch.

"That was a waste of whipped cream my friend." he mumbled.

"Who says I'm your friend?" I joked. He opened one of his eyes and looked at me.

"Ha-ha, very funny." I jmped on his back and yelled in his ear.

"CAN WE GO TO THE PARK??!?!?!?!?!" he jumped up and covered his ear. "Awh! I'm sowwy." I did my puppy eyes and kissed him on the cheek. 

"Fine we can go to the park. Go get them others." I smiled and called all of my friends.

We all set up our picnic down on the grass and put the basket down. Kai and I  stayed there setting up the plates while Daliada and Aimi went to play on the swings. Haru and Ryan were pretending to be pirates on the separate playgrounds. "Arr! Matey, ye be falling down on the Seven Seas!!"Ryan yelled while holding a long piece of tanbark. 

"Arr! Wait, ye be dreaming! Ay! Is that a mermaid?!" Haru yelled while pointing at a poor kitten the dressed as a mermaid. The kitten meowed and hissed when Ryan picked it up.

"Ay matey! This be mine!!!" 

"No! It be mine!!" they argued and argued for who gets the kitten. Aimi and Daliada startde to laugh and I just looked at them like they were crazy.... and they are. 

"LUNCH!!!!" I yelled. They all ran to the picnic, ate quickly and ran back to the playground. "Ah, they never grow up." I sighed as I helped Kai clean up the mess they made.

"Yeah... hey listen-"

"Claudia!!! Get your butt over here!!!!" Aimi yelled.

"Don't you ever call me Claudia you little midget!!" I ran towards her and did my karate air kick!!! "HI-Yah!!"

"Ouch!"

"Don't ever call me Claudia ever again!!" I roared.

"Hey! Claudia!" Ryan yelled. "Let ye friend go and pick on someone ye own size!!!" him and Haru can down and I smirked.

"Hey Will!! How ya doing?" he took off his eyepatch and narrowed his eyes at me.

"Oh. NO. YOU DIDN'T!!!!! AHHHH!!!!" And then all that came was a ball of dust filled with screams and yells.

"Um Kai should we help?" Daliada asked.

"Huh? NO I think they can handle it. Plus I don't want to ruin this beautiful face." He gestured to his face and I saw a flip flop hit his face. "Smurf!" he yelled, while doing a defense pose.

"Wha?" we all said in unison.

"You know, smurf! The little blue mushroom with the little hat." he said.

"They aren't... mushrooms. They're... umm well I don't know." Ryan shrugged.

"Why did you think it was a smurf?" I asked.

"BECAUSE SMURFS ARE EVIL!!!!! EVIL I SAY!!!"

"You mean they're Rain?" Aimi laughed. "Ha! Get it? Cause Rain's evil."

"Yeah yeah what ever. Midget." I stuck my tongue out at her. She did the same.

"Shut up Claudia!"

"Shut up Stone!"

"Blah blah blah!" 

"Ay... them mermaids be evil." Haru said.

"Agreed." Kai, Daliada, and Ryan said in unison. 

"Mermaid? WHO YOU CALLING A MERMAID?!?!?!" I yelled.

"Yay! A mermaid! Now I can be like Ariel!" Aimi squealed excitedly. 

"You're horrifying, Aimi." Ryan commented.

"SO WHAT?!" she said in a creepy voice. 

"I TOLD YOU!!! MEDUSA HAS COME BACK! RUUUNNN!!!" I said while running and climbimg up the stairs to the playground. Ryan, Haru, and Aimi hid in the other playground while Kai hid behind the climbing wall.

"Where are you my little pretty? Come to Aunty MEDUSA!" she yelled with a devil look in her eyes.

"HOLE FUDGE! SHE'S GONE CRAZY!" I yelled.

"To the Car!!!!" and we all ran to the car, leaving a crazy and angry Aimi behind us.
