Ch. 2 The Talent Show

Rain's POV

 "Please?! Come on Rain, you have a great voice!" Daliada and Aimi pleaded. They begged on their knees... literally.

 "No."

"Please?"

"No."

"PLEASE!!!!!"

"FINE! God if you just leave me alone then I will!" I covered my ears as they screamed in my ears. 

"Yay! We'll be singing Let Her Go by Passenger okay?" Aimi said as she handed me a paper.

"I thought we were singing Radioactive by Imagine Dragons." Daliada whined. 

"Nope, we're singing Let Her Go."

"Radioactive."

"Let Her Go."

"Radioactive!!"

"LET HER GO!!"

"OH YOU BOTH JUST LET IT GO OR ELSE IT'S GONNA GET RADIOACTIVE UP IN HERE!!" they both looked at me with narrowed eyes. "Okay... that didn't really make sense. Let's just do Let Her Go."

 "Booyah! Okay, come on. Let's go to the studio to rehearse!"

I walked home alone because Kai had basketball practice and Ryan left without me... some brother he is! Sighing, I walked into my house. I went upstairs and into my bedroom, flopping on the bed. I wish I could minimize my bed and take it with me to school. "Hey there, Rain. Had fun walking?" Ryan smirked. He came into my room and sat down on the edge of my bed. I threw a pillow at his face and it hit him and when it fell down he watched it fall. "Well, that wasn't very nice."

"Says the guy who left his sister to walk home alone!" I muffled into my other pillow. He chuckled and said that I took so long. "Ryan, I was done when school finished."

"Oh oops. Well, then I guess I must've set my watch 30 minutes early. Oh well." he shrugged and I threw another pillow at him. He dodged it and got up and walked away.

I just laid there for who knows how long and then my phone beeped. Ha, my phone said a bad word! Get it? Cause when people say bad words in funny movies they always beep it out? Ha.. ha..eh.

I looked at my phone and saw that the text message was from Kai. 

It said: Hey, my little gumdrop. I'll be back late. Coach made us stay to clean the boys' locker room and run 8 laps around the court. We've been fooling around a lot... -___-

I texted back: Sucks for you loser. You gonna play in the talent show? and send! I'm such a nice girlfriend....

Oh wow, you're so nice. And no, I'm not going to play in the talent show. You? Oh gotta go. Byez! <3 he said. I decided not to text him back because well, he has to go! Why would I text him back? I'll annoy him later. I threw my phone... well, I didn't throw it, I just tossed it on my bed...

I did my homework in a good 3 hours! What? Reading and writing a summary can be hard! Especially when it's a picture book... the pictures are so well printed!

I was putting my stuff away and then I heard my bedroom door creak open. "Ryan?" I asked as I cautiously walekd towards the door. I opened my door and saw nothing. I sighed and turned around. I then saw Kai behind me and I screamed. "Jeez! What the heck?!" Kai started laughing like crazy and fell on my bed. "Kai!"

"Aw I'm sorry gumdrop. I didn't mean to scare you that bad. Come here." he opened his arms and I hugged him.

"You're a big bully." I muffled into his chest. He chuckled while stroking my hair. I pushed myself off and glared. "You're still not forgiven."

"Aw you're so cute when your angry."

"Cute? No, I think you mean hot!" I made a pose and he smiled.

"Like bacon right?"

"Yeah... I'm sizzling like bacon!" I giggled. He smiled and got up from my bed. "You do your homework yet?"

"Yes, because when I'm at basketball practice they let me sit down and do homework!" he said sarcastically.

"Well, gosh."

"What about you?"

"I just finished homework. Now I'm putting it away." I showed him my blue binder before I put it away. "Well, Imma go shower. Aannndddd then get ready for bed I guess."

"Hmm, I think I'll stay here."

"No! Get your fat butt out!" I kicked his butt as he walked out my door.

"Fine! I'll be downstairs!" I rolled my eyes while smiling and went to take a shower.

I came back fully dressed and saw Kai on my bed sleeping. Eh, whatever. I climbed into bed next to him and he turned around while wrapping his arms around my waist and nuzzling his head in the curve of my neck. I giggled and went to sleep.

In the morning!!!! Yay. Oh and the day of the talent show. 

I got up and unwrapped myself from Kai's arms. I went to the bathroom and freshened up. I came back out with a sequin black off the shoulder shirt, some jeans, and my black converse. (A/N this was my actual clothes except the shirt wasn't off the shoulder.)"Kai, oy get up." I shook Kai and he grumbles. I forgot he was a heavy sleeper. I jumped on his back and started to yell in his ear. "KAI GET UP!! THERE'S BACON AND BLUEBERRY MUFFINS!!!!!" he quickly got up and when I almost fell off he caught me.

"What was that for?"

"Come on! We gotta go to school" I jumped out of his grasp and grabbed his arm while pulling on it. He whined and got up.

"Alright, I'll see you at school gumdrop." He kissed my forehead and I nodded.

"Bye Kai! Bye Ryan!" 

"See ya later loser!" I heard Ryan yell. I smiled and ran out the door. Once I got to school I was tackled by Aimi and Daliada. 

"Come on Rain! We gots to to go sign in for the talent show!" She dragged me to the auditorium and we saw a lot of people doing tricks and rehearsing. Aimi went to go sign up and she smiled when she came back.

Now at the talent show! (A/N I'm doing a lot of skips cause I'm lazy.... -_-)

It was almost our turn to go up and Aimi kinda got nervous... "What if we mess up? What, what if we just lose it?!" she yelled. 

"Chill, now come on. We gotta go set up while the curtain is down." I said while the person before us finished.

I put down my chair and sat down on it while holding the microphone. Aimi set up the keyboard while Daliada sat down next to me while also holding a microphone. The announcer announced our names and the curtains opened. Spotlights were VERY bright and were pointed at us. I looked around and saw Kai with Ryan and Haru and they were cheering for us. Haru was doing a funny dance while holding up a sign that said Go Daliada, Rain, and Aimi!! I smiled and Daliada told the audience what we were doing and what we were singing. A roar of cheering was heard and then they quieted down. (A/N Is quieted even a word???) 

"Well, you only needed the light when it's burning low." me and Daliada sang. Aimi started to play the piano and then we picked up the pace. Once we were done, people started to clap and cheer. Wow, a lot of clapping and cheering going on here.

We went backstage and were greeted with hugs and "Yays!"

Hmm... maybe I'll participate in the talent show next year....

Not. 

Sorry it was sorta short. I'm tired and lazy... Well, hey! At least I did this THING for ya. Hope you guys enjoy it... Um, well you dont have too.... but you can. Okay! Bye!
