The sound of the forest reached my ears the moment I shut the engine off. I hopped out and slammed the door closed, listening to Sergei as he did the same. The keycard was just where we left it; I snatched it up and slid it through the scanner, looking straight ahead as the lift jolted alive, falling towards the bunker below us. The moment we came to a complete stop I felt all eyes on me as they eagerly awaited the news.

"So," Osiris raised an eyebrow, "was he lying?"

"No," I announced, "he was telling the truth. There's a bunker across town filled with everything we need. I think it'd be a good idea to move to that location, seeing as this one might have been compromised."

"Compromised?" Marshall stood up, his sharp eyes on Sergei.

"PASCI has been keeping track of the bunkers in the area, I explained to Agnes on the way back that they'd been receiving signals from a few in the area."

"So then the one across town isn't safe either." Necro piped up.

"Actually, it's probably the safest one there is," I said, "they've rewired it to send false signals to PASCI, so whenever the power is booted up, a random light flashes on their board for a random bunker. The problem is, the one for ours might have flashed, so leaving would probably be the best option at this point."

"That's a pretty smart move," Murmur nodded, "I think I'll take you up on that, I'm in."

"Me too." Thamyris nodded, and Lily followed suit.

"Come on guys, it's all or nothing." I looked at Marshall and Necro, who both reluctantly nodded.

"Pack up your things, we leave in ten."

Lily giggled and ran off towards the bedroom, followed shortly by practically everyone else. Marshall went to packing up the food into boxes, and Sergei tentatively walked over to help him. I turned back to walk away after placing the gun and keys on the table, and found Necro waiting for me on the other side of the wall.

"Do you really think this is safe?" He asked me.

"I think it's a lot safer than staying too close to the facility." I nodded, pulling the mask down as I reached my bed. I slid my backpack out and began folding my clothes back up, placing them inside in neat piles.

Thamyris came in a few moments later, carrying what was left of the dirty laundry, now washed and clean. Everyone began picking their things out and eventually the pile diminished to nothing. Necro hoisted a small duffel bag onto his shoulder while I pulled my backpack on, seeing that Lily had her own backpack as well, and everyone else a duffel bag like Necro's. Within minutes we were back out in the main room, gathered around the table while Marshall placed boxes in the lift.

"Alright, say goodbye to the bunker everybody." Marshall called, a big grin on his face. It wasn't until now that I realized he smelled a lot less like cigarettes than when I first met him, and he must have been slowly quitting due to being practically trapped down here.

He slid the keycard through the scanner after everyone had piled on, the elevator rising a little slower than usual due to the added weight. Eventually we reached the top and gathered our things, piling them into Marshall's truck. Three of us would have to sit in the back this time, and Osiris and I were joined by Necro. Sergei hopped into the passenger seat and the truck rumbled, the excitement of moving house seeming to make it even louder. I looked over at Necro and grinned, knowing he couldn't see it, but he smiled back all the same.

"You're really excited aren't you?" He laughed.

"I'm excited to start training," I sighed, "I want to know how to throw knives and punch people."
