Chap.9-Home?

Hiccups POV

"Are you really?" I asked approaching her.
"Yes, I- I am " She said very happily.
"How are you sure I am your son?"
"That scar I remember how you got it" She answers
"How exactly?"
"You were still a baby, it was the time of war against dragons. They were trying to invade Berk. Your father was fighting bravely and vigorously. I was guarding you at the time. A dragon came and broke in our house. The dragon accidentally scared you, but it never meant you harm. It was happy seeing you as you touch its nose. When it saw me though it accidentally scratched you. The dragon abducted me but it didn't even harm me. Then well here we are" She explains

"Wow I have no words" I replied

"Also that dragon was Cloudjumper here" She said as she patted the dragon next to her.

"Cloudjumper huh"

"So a night fury?" She asked

"Ah well long story short I helped him escape from captivity and we basically helped each other after" I casually explain

"Your father how is he?" She asks

"He's fine, he's still the chief of Berk. He a very good father and chief though"

"Does he still believe in the way of the Vikings" She asked

"Well.. yeah I guess"

She was about to speak with dismay on her face but I interrupted

"But our village are friends with dragons now so no worries there"

"I see" She replies smiling

"Runs in the family huh?" I asked jokingly

"I guess so"

After speaking with my mother after a long time. I decide to head back home.

"Well mom I'm really happy knowing you're alive and well. As well as knowing about your discoveries."

"Its been a really fun day" She answers

"So about coming back home?"

"Ah.. I'm still deciding but don't worry I'll find peace with myself and will probably come home" She answers

"Thanks mother for everything"I said i hoped onto toothless. We waved goodbye to each other and I was off. We've been gone for quite a while. They might be worried. As I was flying back i saw another dragon rider from afar headed towards us. I took caution because it may be an enemy. And before i knew it. it was Astrid with stormfly.

"Hiccup oh my where in valhalla have you been to?" Astrid said with an angered tone.
"Well um you see i um" as i was about to explain she putted her finger my lips and shushed me. "Don't ever go without saying anything" She said as she now put her hand on my shoulder. "Of course i won't ever" I said as i was explaining we saw Berk. The sun was setting and we had a great view of the sun hiding onto the mountain. Finally we landed. It was great to be home. "Now to find Dad" i whispered to myself

At the hall

"Stoick, stoick" Haillen said as he ran to Stoick. "Have you found any sign of Hiccup?"Stoick asked "Well yeah he's back and he wanted to talk about Valka"

Stoick ran as he heard her name.

Back to Hiccup

"Man where can dad be?" I said trying to find my old man. Suddenly a large beast came running toward me. "Wha-" As i said that it took me down. "My boy where have you been I've been worried." The weird creature said. As i opened my eyes i realized it was my father.
"I wasn't even out for over a day" I answered as we stood up. "Well i was just worried" He replied. "Yeah , anyway about mom" i said. "Oh right it is the right time to tell you about your mother" He spoke ."About that, I spoke with her today" I answered. His face seemed to lighten up. "Where? where is she?Hiccup answer me where?" He said wanting to know the answer to find the one he dearly loves. "She said she wanted to think about coming back home" I said. "rea-really?" he replied. "Yeah but she's still thinking about it" i answered. "I-- really want her back Hiccup" Dad said starting to tear up." I know i do to, but it's important to give her time let her be for now" I answered. "This is why your going to be chief" He said jokingly, "Wh- what why?" I answered nervously. "You always come up with the greatest ideas, you always find a way, more importantly. You make the greatest decisions" He answered with pride. "I-I guess' I answered back
