"Fuck fuck fuck shit Dallas. You're an Idiot!" I scolded myself as I paced back and forth taking a glance at my phone in between.
I brushed the hair from my face, no doubt getting blood in it as the warm metal of the gun rubbed my scalp. I looked over at the unconscious man tied to the chair and another round of curses left my lips as I kicked him out of frustration.
"I blame those triplet bitches. If they would have left Ben and my family alone, none of this would have had to happen in the first place." He chose that moment to wake up and start coughing up blood.
"Look.. no hard feelings towards you or anything. Blame your old bosses for this okay. You just had the misfortune of being my messenger." I tried to calm myself down before I straddled the seat in front of him and finished the rest of my tea as his swollen eye attempted to blink and he breathed heavily.
"Are you listening?" I questioned lightly kicking his broken foot.
He nodded his head and hissed in pain.
" Everything you do now has to be approved by me. I call, you come running. Now...The next time you see Angel, Devil, or Fallen, you tell them to leave my family alone. Tell them that any problem they have, they act like men and take it up with me directly." Again he nodded slightly and began coughing more blood.
"Good. I'll be seeing you soon." I packed up my things and left.
...
Now you're probably wondering what is going on and how I just single-handedly fueled the fire to an all out war between me, from the west side, and the dickishly handsome triplets of the east side. Please, allow me to enlighten you on how I got myself into this mess of a situation.
....:::: The day Before::::....
"Hey dad. How are the books looking?" I questioned sticking my head into his office.
"Better, after you balance them for me." The smirk on his face caused me to laugh.
"Let me grab my nerd glasses." I ran up to my room to grab said glasses then went to the kitchen to grab a few snacks.
By the time I made it back up to the office the books were already spread out on the floor along with a pillow. We looked at each other and he stuck his tongue out at me before I took my seat on the pillow and got to work.

.
"We're in the positive so far, everything is looking right so far. Arms are a bit meh compared to last season but the clubs and stuff are bringing in double so it doesn't matter." I gave an update and he looked up from his folder.
"We're gunna need to sit down and talk about something new to bring that up." I nodded my agreement and we went back to work.
...
"Hey Dallas?" Both me and Dad looked up from our works and turned our attention to Diego at the door.
He gave me a nod out into the hallway signaling that we should talk outside. I sat the paper I was holding down and pushed my glasses on top of my head as I stood, stretched, and followed him into the hall.
"What's up?" I asked once the door to the office closed behind me.
"Ben's not looking too hot. Doc patched him up pretty good but he still ended up having to go to the hospital because his fever isn't breaking." I let out a sigh as I ran my hand through my hair, taking my glasses in the process.
