"You want to buy him cat biscuits?" Yoongi asked as they stood in the pet aisle of the supermarket. Jungkook had a box of cat treats in his hand. "You know when I said food I meant human food. Like, a packet of chips or something."

Jungkook was silent for a few moments, staring unblinkingly at the box. There was a small amused smile on his lips, one that didn't completely reach his eyes. "In one of the shows he was in, he got turned into a cat ー it'd be like a joke."

"Well... I suppose it's alright then. But you'll have to get him something nice as well."

"Like a packet of chips?" The older male just shrugged and they headed off to the human snack aisle. Jungkook was once again holding his hand, pausing to examine anything that caught his interest. They'd planned to only come in for Taehyung's snacks ー which they were finally getting to meet tomorrow ー but Yoongi had had to go get a shopping basket for all the extras Jungkook had insisted they buy. "He played a good cat."

"Really? Was it an actual cat or just him with ears?"

"Uh... neither. He was just hypnotised to act like a cat. He ate some cat food ー maybe he likes the taste of it."

"Maybe..."

The search for Taehyung's packet of chips resulted in more snacks being bought for Jungkook and a mini argument between the pair over whether or not he really needed all that food. Unfortunately Yoongi ended up giving into the boy, who had started to create a scene, and they left with bags full of snacks.

"Want to go out for lunch?" Yoongi asked after they returned to the car. The younger shook his head, pulling his coat off and chucking it in the back seat. One of his feathers looked a little ruffled because of the coat so the brunette reached out to fix it, running his fingers down the wing. Jungkook tensed up at first but then relaxed, turning his attention to the snacks he'd chosen to eat in the car. His wings were soft, softer than Yoongi had expected.

"Do you use conditioner on these things or something?" He asked, stroking them despite the fact he'd already made them neater. Jungkook shrugged, trying one of the lollies.

"I dunno, you're the one who washes me. You tell me." He then picked out another lollies, looking up at the older male. "Want one? It tastes like melon."

"It says that on the packet."

"I know, I just didn't know if you knew." He held the lollie up the brunette's lips, waiting until he ate. Yoongi hesitantly took it, doing his best to minimise the contact between his lips and Jungkook's fingers.

"Mm, good." He said with a complete lack of sincerity, smiling at the younger. Jungkook frowned at him.

"You know I'm not a child, you don't have to humour me."

"Really? Good." Yoongi rolled down the window and spat the lollie out. "Sorry but I'm not a huge fan on melon."

"That's fine. More for me." Jungkook said as he took another one. "Will we be spending time with Hoseok again tomorrow?"

"Probably, unless he gets distracted by something more interesting and abandons us in the middle of the crowded convention to fend for ourselves, taking the map and everything with him. And then we'll have to ask that random cosplayer how to find the exit, accidentally leave the place and not be allowed back in because Hoseok took the tickets with him."

"Did he do that last time?" Yoongi just nodded. "I'll hold onto the tickets and map then."

"Good idea. Then we won't have to talk to that pony-man again." Yoongi's eyes suddenly widened and if Jungkook hadn't been watching him at the time he would have missed the transition of his resting face into an expression of excitement. "Oh my god! I just had an idea ー oh my god, I'm smart!"
