Part 1: Fresh Start
"Bye Becca, I love you!" My mom says to me as I get ready to board my flight to Florida. "Bye mom I love you too", I say as I get in line. I think to myself as I'm walking through the gate "This is it, Miami here I come!"
"Please fasten your seat belts and turn off your cell phones, the plane is about to take off." I quickly turn off my phone and get settled in my seat. The seats next to me are empty, which is okay because I like being alone. The flights attendants go through the safety procedure and finally, the plane takes off.
Once we allowed to turn on our phones again I put in my headphones and listen to music. Music has always helped me get through a lot of things. I put on "Heart In My Hand" by Austin Mahone. He is my lifesaver, I've been a Mahomie since 2011. I've never met him but that's okay, I still support him no matter what. I run a twitter account dedicated to him lol weird right. He just makes me so happy. I finally fall asleep dreaming about what my summer is going to be like in Miami.
