Chapter 1

Kageyama POV:
Karasuno. The school I'm going to spend the next 3 years of my life at. Am I ready? I sure as hell am.

I wandered into school and had an introduction and all that stuff that you get when you move to a new school. After a few hours of boring speeches, it was finally lunch. I looked around and I eventually found a vending machine and got some milk from it, downing it in 2 seconds. I noticed the gym standing right next to me, when an idea popped into my head.

It wouldn't hurt to check it out?

I mean, I've already filled out the form for the volleyball club, all I need to do is to give it to the captain.

I rumbled through my bag looking for the form, and I finally found it. I walked over to the doors and opened it slightly. I was met with a small group of boys playing volleyball. I watched them for a minute or two before someone recognised I was there and wandered over to me.

They gave me a few instructions and all that, like the rules and stuff. It wasn't until he finished that I heard a loud bang go off behind me. I slowly turned my head, making sure to give a deathly death stare to whoever just burst my eardrums.

A bright, smiling boy with a mop of orange, messy hair was standing in front of 2 doors that had been slammed open.

For some reason, my death glare had disappeared and I was now looking at him, almost in a fond way.

He walked over to the guy who was talking to me and handed him a sheet of paper, which also looked to be a volleyball application form. He then pointed to his ears and made a cross with his arms. This only caused everyone's confused faces to become even more confused.

He sighed and brought out a pen from his bag and wrote on the back of his form. I peered over to see what he was writing.

I am deaf. Can I still join?
