Chapter 6

"Hinata"

"Yes?"

"Do ever want to get hearing?"

"I think so."

"Maybe we could get you checked up at some hospitals?"

"Okay!"

He looked up at me and kissed my cheek.

"Thank you for caring so much Kageyama!"

I smirked at him and kissed him back.

Since that day, we searched up the nearest and best hospitals in the country. We managed to get 10 hospitals, 4 being in and around Tokyo and the rest being near to us.

Once we got the hospitals sorted, we went to find Hinata's mum. Hinata bounded down the stairs with the sheet of paper with the hospitals written down on it.

Once I had gotten downstairs, Hinata's mum was already reading the paper.

She looked up at me confused.

"Oh, well, Hinata wanted to see if he could get tested for hearing, so we found a few hospitals we could see. We just needed your permission."

"Of course! When are you thinking of going?"

"Well we need to sort out appointments, but hopefully some time soon!"

"Yes of course! I will pay for your train tickets as well!"

"Okay thank you!"

"Hello, ***** Hospital speaking, how may I help?"

"Hello, can I make an appointment for a hearing test for Hinata Shōyō?"

"Of course, if he is 15 or younger, he has to have a guardian with him."

"He is 16. What time would the appointment be?"

"Hmmm the earliest is one in 2 weeks"

"Can I take that one please?"

"Yes, please leave your email and I will email the time and date and location."

"Okay, thank you."

"No problem, thank you for calling."

I had spent nearly an hour phoning up all the different hospitals Hinata and I had chosen. I had tried to get some of the Tokyo ones on the same day, but it looks like we will have to take several train rides to Tokyo.

This would all be worth it. Soon, Hinata will be happier than ever... If that is even possible. At least one hospital must have the right knowledge and equipment right?

It was a week after we had phoned the hospitals and Hinata would be going in for his first test tomorrow. I didn't want him to worry, so I had a plan.

"Hinata, do you want to go out at a place somewhere to eat?"

"Like a date?"

"Yeah, what do you think?"

"Yes! Of course! Why would I say no Bakayama!"

I let out a small smile and wrapped my arms around his waist. Thinking about it, this would be our first date!

"Shall we change and pick a restaurant?"

"Okay!"

Since we were at my house, I managed to find some clothes, but Hinata had to rush back to his place to find something to wear. We agreed to meet in town in an hour, plenty of time.

I started looking through my wardrobe. I didn't want to wear a full suit, but I still wanted to look       smart-ish. I at my trousers... A pair of black ones will do. Now a top... I got out a light-blue buttoned shirt. I don't think I'll bother with a tie.

I straightened out my outfit and glanced at the clock. 45 minutes had already passed!!??? Crap! It takes me at least 20 minutes to get to town. I sent a quick text to Hinata, mentioning I might be late. I grabbed my coat and bolted out the door, nearly forgetting to lock it.

I was nearly at town, when I started to feel a stitch forming. Aghhh only a little longer!

I finally reached town and saw Hinata. He had a pair of blue jeans and a warm, puffy coat on. He had a red nose and cheeks and a white scarf that hung loosely around his neck.

In a weird way, he reminded me of a marshmallow.

"Hey! Sorry I'm late!"

"Don't worry, which restaurant are we going to?"

"There's a new place that opened up around the corner, shall we check it out?"

"Okay!"

I walked by Hinata's side, hand in hand, up the street, both of us grinning at the warmth of each other.
