Chapter 26 - Hospital Life #Shithole

Jamie’s P.O.V

“Morning babe” Chantel said to me while pecking my lips trying to wake me up.

“Mmm morning, what’s the time?” I asked her while getting up and putting on my Collingwood shorts.

“It’s 7 and you have to be at the club by 7:30 and it’s important apparently” She said and walked out of the room.

I got everything packed and ready to go, I couldn’t be bothered with doing my hair, so I just put on a beanie, grabbed my phone and walked out of the room, downstairs, grabbed Seedsman and Beams and walked out of the door to my Audi.

“Mate, do you even know what’s going on?” Seedsman asked me.

“Nah, I just got a text to be there at 7:30, do you?” I asked them and they both nodded their heads. I turned on the radio to fox and after Little Things was played they started talking.

“In the news today, we have been told that all the One Direction shows in the UK have been postponed for one day. The management have told the news that someone close to them is in hospital and we will hear more later on during the day”

We got to the club like 3 minutes after and walked into the meeting room and sat down at the back, leaning against the back wall and taking out my phone. It was only 7:20am and I’m still tired, especially because that one person was on my mind all last night.

I had a few texts from people and checked them. First one from Scott sent at 7:20am.

‘To Jamie: why you looking so glum over there? Be happy (: - S.P’

‘To S.P: I have been thinking about her once again, especially when I’m in bed and it’s the worst – Jamie’

“Boys, off your phones, this something important that you have to hear” Bucks walked in with DT and DS.

“I’ll start it off... the other day, I got a phone call from someone important and they told me that someone that we know is in hospital. That person didn’t know what to do, but I told the person that I would tell you guys” Daisy said to everyone.

“This person that called Daisy was Harry Styles. The person that is in hospital is Maddie Anderson. Now correct me if I am wrong, but it happened after her and Gordon got into a fight, she got onto a motorbike without a helmet on, Simon found her and she had been hit. The truck hit her back tyre and she spun and hit a car full on. She is awake but she was in a coma for two weeks.” Bucks said to us.

I couldn’t believe it, the girl that I’m in love with, yes in love was in a coma for two weeks and no one told me. How I didn’t know this is bad... yeah she is going out with ex but she is still my best friend and I know things that other people don’t. I looked over to Scott to see that he was already looking at me and he mouthed me the words “I didn’t know either and she is my sister.” Shit just got real; I pulled out my phone and went straight to twitter.

Maddie’s P.O.V.

“You know that Harry told Dale Thomas about what happened yeah?” Louis said to me from the door but I was facing the window and looking out over everything. I’m not talking to anyone until I find out if they know about my condition or not and no one will tell me in the whole bloody hospital. Apparently it’s too private. It’s my body; nothing is private until I say it is! Ah these people do my head in and I want to hit them... the boys have a concert tonight and the doctor said I can be let out today though I have to wait until Paul or Simon get back and sign me out. My phone beeped on the table next to me, though it was just a twitter notification once again though it might be someone important like my brother’s so I guess I should check it.
