Chapter 8 - Finding Out and Depression

Maddie's P.O.V

After yelling at the boys last night, I instantly felt bad and I knew I had to do something to say sorry to them. I actually do not know why I said those things to them. Anyway's I woke up this morning to hearing no sounds from the boys and no arms wrapped around me. I took my phone of the charger and saw that I had two texts. One from Scott and the other from James. I opened James' first 

'Hey sister, hope you are liking London but can you please call me? I have found some news that you might want to here. Miss you :( - James'

'Hey Maddie, can you please call me or James ASAP! - Scott'

After reading and re-reading those texts, I decided I should call James. This is how the phone call went. 

"Hey James, what is so important to tell me?" I asked

"Hey Maddie, remember when we both went to the doctor's to get a check up?" He asked me.

"Yeah, back in March...what about it?" I asked confused

"Well, your doctor just called me and I know this is shit to say over the phone, but the doctor said that your ovaries aren't good enough and you can't get pregnant" He said sadly.

When he said that I just hung up the phone and threw it against the wall. I went into my secret room and just broke down crying. From when I was a kid, I have always wanted to have kids no matter what. I love children, just like I love my family. Everyone tells me that one day when I decide to have kids that it will be a beautiful baby. I heard my phone go off every two minutes but I ignored them. (Picture of James O'Connor on the side)

Simon's P.O.V

I was in a meeting with the lads talking about their Take Me Home Tour and where they want to go..when Paul's phone went off he answered immiderately, which suprised me and the boys because he never answer's that quick. Paul comes in and puts on a fake smile and comes and walks over to me. 

"Alright boys, just talk to yourselves for a minute while I'll talk to Paul" I said to the boys smiling. Paul comes over and whispers into my ear "Scott Pendlebury just called and said something is wrong with Maddie, call James and find out?" I looked at him weirdly, then at Zayn and he looked confused and worrid. I put in James' name and took the phone to my ear. 

"James O'Connor?" I asked him 

"Yes and who is this?" He asked in a professional manner

"It's Simon Cowell..Paul just spoke to Scott about your family friend" I asked as the boys were looking at me weirdly. 

"Uh let me guess you're with the lads and you don't want them to here but you need Paul to here so when I get put onto loudspeaker to not say her name." He asked me calmly '

"Haha yeah, well I'm going to put you on loudspeaker now." I pressed a button and his voice came through the room. 

"James, can you tell us what has happened?" Paul asked him

"Uh, I got a call from our doctor and he said her ovaries aren't good and that Piglet can't get pregnant. When I told Piglet she threw her phone and hasn't been talking ever since" He said with a sigh at the end. 

The boys looked at each other weirdly to see who knew someone called Piglet. Paul looked at me and I spoke back to James.

"Do you think she will relapse into depression?" I asked James

"That is the first thing I am worried about, I am not there this time if she tries to kill herself again" After that being said Harry looked at me and I looked at him. He mouthed 'Maddie' to me, and I simply just nodded. 'How do you know?' I asked him through mouthing it to him. When it was 11am, I knew that these boys had an interview soon, so I told them to go but Harry to stay here. I told them to tell the person that he is sick and he is terribly sorry for this.
