I had a lot to think about. I had woken up an hour ago, and I still couldn't wrap my head around the idea? Does Jason think that I'm his true love? Does he think that I can return the love he so easily puts out? Yes, he does.
I should give him a chance.
Jason walked into the room.
"How are you feeling?" He asked tentatively.
"I'm okay, how are you feeling?" I asked.
"Guilty. I'm so sorry Ariel, I don't know what came over me." He hung his head in shame. I couldn't help but take pity on him. He lost control.
"It's okay, I forgive you." I whispered as I hugged him. He froze before returning the hug and nuzzling his head into my neck.
"It's not okay, I hurt you. I never meant to hurt you." He cried. I just kept hugging him.
"Shh, it'll be alright Jason. I've decided to give you a chance." I told him. He pulled away from the hug.
"You mean it? You're really giving me a chance?" He asked with astonishment.
"Yes, I think that you deserve one." I smiled. He gave me the largest grin I have ever seen and hugged me.
"Thank you so much, Ariel! You won't regret it!" He declared.
"As long as you treat me right I won't have a reason to." I said. Jason couldn't stop grinning. I guess the beast does deserve a chance after all.
Jason had explained to me a couple more rules regarding my safety.
"On full moons, you are not allowed to go come out of this room, alright?" He asked.
I didn't understand why that was even a rule.
"Why is that a rule?" I asked him.
"Ariel, this rule is for your own safety. I promise you that in time you will understand the truth, but it's too early to tell you about that right now." He smiled sadly. I frowned but agreed to his rules.
It was fairly early, so I had decided to go to the music room. Jason had informed me that he had business to attend, but would be back for supper, and that there was a music room and library of which I could enjoy.
I had thanked him and, after he left, set my path to the music room. Jason's music room was absolutely beautiful. There were harps, violins, a grand piano, and violas.
Almost immediately, I had gone for the grand piano to play a song I knew of.
