I rested in front of a tree. I breathed heavily. My chest rose up and down as I breathed and my heart beat fast. I heard some loud booming and looked back at the small circle in the middle. Lightning struck the tree. I looked back in front of me. I laid my head in my hands. I was terrified, I know I was absolutely sure I was gonna die, I wasn't ready for it. I heard a noise, I whipped my head around. I heard some people and crawled up a tree. I saw four people walking by. One had white hair, golden eyes and a spear. One had jet black hair with red stripes, crimson eyes, and didn't seem to have a weapon. One lady standing in the front had purple hair with some darker streaks, she had a crossbow, and golden eyes. The other lady was walking a bit carelessly while the others were very precautious. Except the black haired dude who looked chill. She had blonde hair in a ponytail, she had a revolver and a knife on her hips, and blue eyes. I watched them walk by cautiously as to not make noise. I moved my hand back though and the branch broke. My body fell backwards. Out of all the commotion my legs wrapped around the branch I was sitting on. "Ooh, lookey here" the blonde circled around and stood in front of me. The others went in front also. I let out a little 'Eep'. I had on a some shorts and a tank top so I didn't have to worry about a skirt. Although my tank top fell down to the bottom of my bra. I lifted my tank top up with my hands. "She's seems like a week link" "So kill her off now?" The blonde said eagerly. I let myself drop and stood up. "Now wait a minute. You think I'm just gonna let you kill me off without a fight your wrong" I grabbed my bow. "What do you expect to do with that close range?" The purple haired girl was right. A bow is a long ranged weapon. I looked at all of them, "maybe she'd be of some use" the white haired guy spoke up. "Use?" I said quietly. "She's pathetic" "hey!" I grabbed an arrow from my pouch. "I can use this at close range" "four against one honey" I looked at the guy standing in the back. The black haired guy just had his arms crossed and eyes closed. "He's on our team too" the purple haired girl stepped in front of me. "Well I could help you" she looked back at her group, "how?" "I could uh... shoot" I held my bow up. She looked around, "I guess we could use a long range shooter" "hey! You got me" the blonde girl intervened. "Peach, you like to use your gun close range" she shrugged and backed off. I questioned that girls sanity. "Show me what you got" oh geese. I've had my time with bows, but I don't think I'm a master. I looked around, I spotted a target and drew my bow. I breathed, I released the string after I took aim. The arrow flew and hit a bird in a tree. "Wow, pretty good shooting there" "I guess we could use you on our team" the purple haired girl finally admitted. "Names Blaze" she held out her hand. "(Y/n)" I hesitantly shook her hand. "Names Peach, don't forget it" the blonde haired girl grinned. "That's Silver and Shadow" she pointed to the white haired then the black haired guy. Glad they associated names. Now I don't have to keep calling them by their hair color. "When numbers start spreading thin she's the first to go, just watch" I heard the Peach say to Silver. I nervously followed them kind of behind them. "Hey, don't drift off too far" Peach bumped me up next to Shadow. I knocked into him, "sorry" he didn't say anything. "So what's your deal?" "Look, don't go getting all friendly. Once the numbers start thinning out we start killing each other. Everyone dies and only one makes it out alive. So I'll defiantly kill you if it comes down to it" "wh- why are you just telling me your plan?" "Everyone has that in mind. We're all team up, friendly and laughing till we're the only ones left" I looked at the rest of them. Peach was joking with Silver and nudged Blaze. "I guess so.... your the most realistic person I've met all day" "Better get used to it. People here tend to say what they mean" he turned to me then kept looking straight. I smiled to myself, then I frowned. I thought about how this would all end in someone's blood spilling. I then thought about Carson. "Oh no.." I mumbled to myself. "What?" Peach bumped me and stood next to me. "I just- nothing" Blaze looked back at me then stopped everyone. She didn't say anything, but she held her finger up to her mouth as to tell us to 'Be quiet'. We all stood there, she motioned at me. I drew my bow and scouted ahead. I climbed a tree and looked around. There were some people crossing a river. "There's some people ahead" I whispered. "Well, snipe 'em" Peach told me. I looked at Blaze nodded. I readied my bow. I don't know if I can do it. Killing someone, their just over their. Just then a loud bong was heard all around. Then it started to rain, "run for cover!" Blaze shouted. They all ran in a direction. I looked at my hands, it was blood. "Ahh!" I jumped down from the tree and ran in the same direction as them. I looked around but my vision was clouded with the 'Blood rain'. "Agh!" I fell. I began to weep. I couldn't help it. I felt someone grab my arm. I struggled for a moment but they dragged me into a little cavern. "Let go!" "Not like I just saved your life" I wiped my eyes and opened them. "S- Shadow?" "Your welcome" I looked down at my clothes soaked in blood. "Thank you..." "after the Blood rain clears we'll regroup with the others" I nodded. I shivered and bundled myself.
