"Now what?" I smiled cheekily to Edward pero di niya ako pinansin. Tulala lang sya while smiling like a total idiot.

"Huy!"

"Huy"

He finally looks at me. "What?" He asked.

Nagpipigil ako ng tawa dahil sa muka niya. Kunwaring pikon pero nangingiti at kilig na kilig?

"What happened?"

Edward looks away to hide his smile. Iba din talaga kapag tinamaan ka, minsan nagmumuka ka nang tanga.

"Nothing happened"

I raised a brow him, "Really? Wala? Eh magkatabi kayo nga-" I tapped the sofa, "dito oh."

His brows furrow sabay hawi ng buhok niya, "It's not want you think.."

Tumango tango ako while making faces. "Oh.. okay" I said but deep inside, I really don't believe it.

"I have a huge amount of respect to her. I respect her more than anyone. You know that."

And this time he was dead serious. Fine, he won. Nothing happened.

"I know" I sit closely to him sabay akbay, "it seems that you don't need my help anymore."

Edward removes my hand, "i still need it, stupid."

"Really? Why? You guys are together now."

Edward shook his head, "I'm sure Maymay's mad right now."

I frowned. Ano pa bang kulang? Ayan na oh. Ang lakas lakas na nag ebidensya, sila na ulit.. lagi naman sila e.. simula noon pero ito, patunay na. What's wrong with them?

Edward's face change. He doesn't look happy just like earlier. Maybe he's thinking on what will going to happen to both of them after this.

"Why.. don't you make ligaw?"

"She doesn't want me."

"How'd you know?" I asked. Ate Maymay always loved him. Sadyang pinaghihiwalay nga lang sila ng tadhana at pagkakataon.

"You should try.."

Napabuntong hininga si Ed, "How? Courting her means hurting her, do you know that? People are going to be mad at her, they will bash her again and I don't want that to happen."

"Do you even hear yourself?" I'm slightly annoyed, "Ate Maymay is strong enough face those bashers but leaving her heart in misery I think that's the reason why she'll get hurt."

Di sumagot si Edward. I know he's thinking intently. Alam ko gano kadami ang bashers ni Ate May pero alam ko din kung gano siya katapang, gano katatag ang loob niya. She can face any f*ckin' problem as long as they're together.

A minute has passed but di pa din nagsalita si Edward kaya napabuntong hininga ako. I don't want to see my best friend in pain.

"Take it slow.. clear things out. It will help you."

Ako pa naman yung taong di magaling advice pero sa tingin ko, iyon ang kailangan ng bestfriend ko. Kailangan niya ng oras at panahon at syempre suporta. I don't want him to repeat the same mistake I made.

"Bro. Thank you."

Lumapit siya sakin at niyakap niya ako. #Bromance ata to. Pero kidding aside, Edward and I are like siblings now. Sobrang kilala na namin ang isa't-isa. Halos magkabuhol na nga ang mga bituka namin sa sobrang malapit namin. Kami nalang kaya? Hahaha! Joke.
