The night went off with me being alone.
Me being with a crowd.
Me being with strangers.

This guy, the guy with brown light hair with a cap. Then his girlfriend with dark blue hair with green light highlights.
...this...is a maid cafe...
This is actually my first time in a maid cafe...
The guy with the brown light hair groans and lays his head on the table, hiding his face with his arms. "Daeji...why are you letting him get free cake?"
"Wiseong, be nice..." Daeji, a worker of the maid cafe; smiles and pats my back. "Please blow out your birthday candles."
I blow the candles.
...I'm 19 now...
It's...it's strange to have a birthday with two strangers...
I looked her smile. It's kind...and sweet.
Daeji pulls the cake away from me and sets a plate in front. "Happy birthday, Hyun Oh."
"Thank you..." I said quietly.
I always thought a maid cafe was a sex cafe....it's not. I'm glad I'm getting this experience with a nice girl and her boyfriend...
Though...I feel like I'm a creep. Just getting a cake at 8 pm at night...
It's also a blizzard outside, I don't even know how I made it out here...
Wiseong groans and looks at Daeji. "...you didn't even do this for my birthday..."
Daeji sighs with a weak evil smile, "You were out of the country, dummy..." She pinches his cheeks.
His cheeks are turning pink. "Don't touch me..." He turns away.
Daeji giggles and moves her hand away. "Hyun Oh, do you want a slice?"
I nod.
I still don't know what to say to them. I feel...a bit awkward.
I'm...probably getting in the way of them...mostly her boyfriend. He seems annoyed.
Daeji takes the knife and slices a triangle shape and places it on my plate.
"Thank you for the cake..." I clapped my hands.
...it's been a long time since I did this...
Daeji chuckles and pats my head.
They're older than me...so...I guess it's okay.'
It's like how I was a kid, but...just a little awkward.
I take a bite of the cake, it's good...I'm a little full from the cheesecake I had a few hours ago...
"So...why are you here at the cafe?" Wiseong looks at me. "You don't look like those creeps at night...and it's even cold outside. Why are you really here?"
"Wiseong-ah! You don't need to question him--"
I cut her words off. "Uh...my boyfriend and I...got into a fight..."
...
Silence.
"Thank the Neptune that you're gay..." Wiseong sighs in relief and sits back to relax.
Daeji sighs and looks at me, "Don't mind him, he can be childish at times..." She pats my back and ignores Wiseong.
