-Pokémon Sun/Moon- Gladion X Reader

Act 2

    My eyes flicker open as I awake in a white room. I'm on a pure white bed and look around. There's only a white bedside table and a silver coat rack. My melon-slice purse is draped around a silver hook. How did I get here? Where am I- Suddenly, a vague memory of sleeping in a similar room a while back popped into my head. Am I on Aether Paradise? No- I couldn't be, I don't remember coming here. I was on Melemele island last night, wasn't I?

Confused, I stumble out of the bed and onto the cold floor. I put on my shoes that were carefully placed at the feet of the white bed and grab my purse. I dash out of the door and run into a figure. 

"Ah! I'm sorry, I should've paid more attention to where I was running," I say, taking a step back to see who I'd clumsily run into. "Wicke?"

"(Y/N)? It's been a while," She says as if I didn't just stumble into her, "How are you?"

"Uhh... a little confused. How did I get here?"

"I'm not sure, I didn't even know you were on Aether Paradise!"

"I didn't either," I reply.

An awkward moment of silence goes by until Wicke asks, "Would you care for some tea?" I nod my head and we make our way over to an area with tanks filled with water, a part of the Conservation deck I've never seen. Sunlight is pouring into the room through skylights causing the water in the tanks to glisten. Wicke hands me a steaming Roserade Tea and I stare at the school of Wishiwashi swimming by. 

"Once I saw you I thought you were looking for Gladion." Wicke sips her tea. "He talks about you quite often here, you know."

I almost choke on my Roserade Tea (thank Arceus I didn't cause it's burning hot) you blush slightly and say surprised,"He talks about me? When?"

"Oh, certainly. When he thinks he's alone." She flashes me a mischievous smile. 

"Oh uh-"

"Though he always has to play it cool and end with,'But it's not like I like her or anything.'"

At this point, I'm not exactly sure what to say so I sip my tea nervously and admire the Pokémon swimming in the tanks. 

Wicke glances at her watch."Well, I have some work I must get back to.  You're welcome to stay for as long as you want, (Y/N)."

"Thanks, Wicke," I say walking around looking at the tanks, still wondering how I got here in the first place. 

"Rotom? Do you know how we got here? We were on Melemele island, weren't we?"

"Yeah," Said a voice you weren't expecting to hear. "But you fell asleep."

I turn around and see none other than Gladion standing there. "I-I fell asleep? Why didn't you just take me home?" 

He stares at me with a did-you-really-just-say-that look on his face. "H-how do you expect me to know where you live?" He said in a monotone voice.

"Well, uh, you could've just woken me up," I say, placing a hand on my hip. "I didn't want to wake you. You looked so-" He stopped abruptly and started blushing. I notice the school of Wishiwashi I been admiring had been replaced by a school of heart-shaped Pokémon.  

"Luvdisc," Rotom hops out of your purse and chirps mischievously," Loving couples have a soft spot for this Pokémon, so honeymoon hotels often release this Pokémon into their pools!"

"Very informative, Rotom," I say, unamused.

Rotom hovers over to Gladion, but it doesn't end there. "This heart-shaped Pokémon earned its name by swimming after loving couples it spotted in the ocean's waves." It hovered back over to me. "It is said that any couple meeting this Pokemon is promised a loving relationship that never ends." 

"Okay, that's enough, Rotom," Gladion remarks, rolling his eyes- well the one I can see. 

"You should get her a Luvdisc, after all, it's tradition to give it to someone you looo-"

I snatch Rotom from Gladion's face as quick as I possibly could. Gladion's face is now red like roses- since he's so pale, it's easy to tell when he's blushing- and I shove Rotom into my purse. I place my empty teacup on a glass table.

"Uh.. well, thanks for letting me sleep here, I've gotta go." I dash to the elevator and make it to the entrance. I hop on my Charizard and make it home.

A day later.

"Hold on, Meowth! I'll play with you later, there's someone at the door."I try to make it to the door without stepping on any of Meowth's toys. 

I open the door,"Hello?" I look around, there's nobody around anymore. I almost miss the small box at the foot of the door. I pick it up and it's an egg. I put it in my party gladly and look for anything else but that was it. As I walk into my house it immediately begins to hatch. 

"It's a Luvdisc?"

"They gave it to you in the form of an egg... I'm guessing they didn't want you knowing who gave it to you," Rotom chirps.
