Maria hasn't talked to me or anyone or even left her house for a few days. One of my best friends is in a coma. Could it be any worse?
Lily came home at about 5:30 and she told me she had some news. I really hope it's good.
"Leila, it's about your parents." She said softly
"What?" I replied
They were released out of jail 1 or 2 years ago and well... they want to claim you back as their own. I've scheduled for you to meet them on Thursday "
"WHAT?" WITHOUT EVEN TELLING ME?" I didn't know how to feel. I want to meet my parents and all but, I love Lilly. I love my life, my friends... do I really wanna restart again? It's Monday right now and so I don't have to long. What if my parents turned around and became addicts again?
Today is thursday, the day I meet my parents. I'm really anxious. I want to be with Lilly
but, I mean, my parents actually want me back. Just at one of the worst times of my life, this just had to come up. I just want everything back together again. Why does this have to be so hard? I'm so scared, there's an empty aching pain in my stomach and I'm starting to get a headache. All of a sudden I just start sobbing. I just don't need this right now.
