•The judge called recess as he got the security tapes. Debra was for some reason trying to balance a spoon on her nose, mother was quickly walking back and forth worriedly, and the girls were eating grapes and playing poker. I was kinda just sitting there, when I saw Lilly speaking to her lawyer, that's when it hit me, after this court session, Lilly will legally be my parental guardian, my mom, and mother will be arrested for child abuse. Its like my life is a fan fiction (lol). The judge came back with the security cameras. The court session began again. Someone came up and played the tapes. We watched the footage of the past two weeks. Yup. Child abuse. Here come the police officers. It all happened so fast, she's gone. I'm free. I sat there, stunned, in silence, just there, Lilly walked over and sat with me, she didn't speak, she just wrapped her arms around around me and hugged me. I didn't know what to do at first, but I hugged her back. The court room started to empty, when Lilly spoke up, "we should go." "Yea." I replied in a faint voice. She brought me to her car, and we started driving to her home in L.A.. "Welcome home" she said as we entered. She showed me my new room.
