"What's your name?" asked the white bot.

"(Y/n). Your's?" the femme asked back.

"Designation's Smokescreen. Nice to meet you (Y/n)." the young mech smiled at the young femme beside him. "So, why are you here?" Smokescreen asked.

"I'm here with my brother Breakdown and his partner Knockout. how about you?" (Y/n) asked back.

"I'm here with my mentor, Alpha Trion." Smokescreen said.

"Alpha Trion? Wow, that sounds-" (Y/n) wanted to replied to the white bot but got cut off by her brother.

"(Y/n)? We're leaving." Breakdown called out from the other side.

"Sorry, I have to go. See you around Smokescreen." (Y/n) said before joining her brother, she turned around and smiled at Smokescreen before when they walked out. But what they didn't know is, this is a start of a great friendship.

Smokescreen's POV

"Take that, con!" I yelled whie shooting at the Decepticons.

The battle didn't went on for long before the Decepticons retreated, I saw a bot drove into the forest which I didn't hesitate to follow. 'Today I'm going to make Optimus proud' I thought following the con close until it suddenly stopped and transformed holding out a gun in my direction.

"Stop there Autobot." The con said still pointing the gun at me but I was shocked. the bot had an beautiful (f/c) frame, clear (e/c) optics and a lovely voice. There's only one bot that matches all that description, "(Y/n)?" I called out still in my alt mode.

"How do you know my name?" She asked even more alert than she was before.

"It's me." I said transforming into my bot mode.

"S-Smokescreen?" she asked after a bit uncertain I nodded giving her a smile. (Y/n) my closest friend on Cybertron before the war begin. After she was sure it was me she changed her gun into her servo and gave me a hug which I gratefully return.

"You changed a lot, I didn't recognize you at first."I said letting her go.

"And you didn't change at all." she said looking at me in the optics which made me blush slightly, luckily she didn't notice.

"I haven't met you since the war began. What are you doing on Earth?" She asked.

"I joined team Prime. I'm working under Optimus Prime! It's a dream come true!!" I said excitedly.

"That's good." She said somehow disappointed. "So you're an Autobot now?" she asked looking at the Autobot badge I'm wearing. "Yeah, I suppose so. And you're an Decepticon, because of your brother?" I asked looking at her Decepticon badge too.

"Yeah, but he died few months ago." she said with a depressed voice. "Sorry." I said, "It's fine." she replied giving me a fake smile to hide her sadness.

[Smokescreen where are you!?] Ratchet's voice rang through my audio receptor. I looked at (Y/n) and put my servo on the side of my helm. [Still near the battle field, I was chasing a con.] I replied through the com-link.

"You should probably go, your teammates are worried about you. I should go to." she said before turning around to walk away.

"Wait!" I called out to her, she turn her head to look at me. "We're still friends right, despite we're on different sides?" I asked her hoping she would say yes, and she did. She nodded in response, "Yes!" I said dramatically making her giggle at my action. "I really should go." she said waving at me "See you around Smokescreen." and then just like she left that leaving me standing there staring at the direction she left.
