           ''Remember our first date?'' I said caressing his bald head. He laughed but started coughing.

            ''OK ok, maybe no laughing,'' I said chuckling.

             He shook his head and looked at me. His love-filled eyes never failed to blow me away.

   
             ''Well dearest husband, let us recite our history,'' I say giggling.

Flashback

         I was getting ready for a date. This guy finally asked me. We go to the same library, and had theorized about our favorite books together. Remembering this makes giggle.

        We were talking about a book, now I really don't remember the book, and then we drifted into conversing into our current relationship status. He asked if I was single, I said 'Yes' then he popped the question of a date and I was over the moon. It didn't help that I was crushing on him for quite some time.

  
         He said he would pick me up on Saturday at five. I was excited. He called on Friday asking where would I like to go, that he wanted my input on it since it will our first date. Some of my friends thought it was nice while most thought it was plain rude. I thought it was considerate of him honestly. I asked if we would go to a pizza place of his choice. He was shocked. He said he expected something fancier from me. We agreed to go to a pizza place, I just didn't know which. He said wear something fancy yet comfortable. We agreed he would pick my up.

          My best friend since fifth grade, Calla, did my hair in a braid that I would never be able to do because I can't reach that far of my hair.

   

          I also chose to wear a café colored trench coat, black skinny jeans, ankle heeled boots, and a cross handled purse. I don't like to wear dresses but figured I should out some effort into this.
