I seen Tom walk in and into his office. So, much for hello. I stood up with the finished files and went inside. I seen him infront of a mirror cleaning up blood from his lip. I put the files on his desk and rushed over to him. I was freaking out. "Baby, what happen to you?" I asked. "It's nothing, dear. I'm fine." he replied. "It doesn't look like nothing. Talk to me." "Honey, listen to me. It is nothing you need to worry about." "You're my boyfriend. I care about you. Now, tell me." He let out a sigh and looked away. "Mark and I got into an altercation." "What?!" "Yes, just now in his office. We argued for a minute then faught." "I'm going over there!" Before I could go out the door Tom grabbed my arm pulling me back. "No, we don't need to have anymore problems." he said. "I'm not going sit here and have him get away with this! What if he kills you?! I don't want that, Tom." I started crying against his chest. He held onto me tight giving me a kiss on the top of my head. "Don't ever think like that." He cupped his hand around my face. "I'm not going anywhere. You are my life and I will do whatever it takes to keep you by my side. I love you, Melony." "And I love you." Tom pressed his lips against mine for a moment. He looked back at me and smiled. "Are you okay now?" I smiled at him and chuckled. "Yes, I'm okay." "Good. So, Miss Ross did you finish those files I asked for?" "Yes." He turned around to see them and looked them over. "Great job. Nicely organized." "I'm going back to my desk. See you later." "Alright, love. It's a date." I laughed to myself as I walked out of his office.

The day had ended and Tom invited me to dinner at his place. His house was fairly small but liveable. I walked inside to see a table set up with candles lite and plates set. I looked to see a chef put the meal on the table. Tom handed me a rose and I smiled at him. "What you don't know how to cook?" I asked jokingly. "I do it's just I wanted tonight to be extra special." he replied in my ear. His voice made me go weak in the kneels. We sat down and began eating. We chatted for awhile about everything in our lives. After we had finished dinner Tom lead me to his bedroom. There were rose petals laid out on the bed. Candles were lite in every direction. A tray of fruits dipped in chocolate and champagne. He poured me a glass and handed it to me. "Here's to the most beautiful girl in the entire world." said Tom. I blushed as we clinked our glasses together. We fed eachother the fruit and kissed. It was something I've never experienced. I thought we would make love but got something better. We held eachother. He whispered sweet things into my ear. I grew chills all over my body.

I woke up to see Tom not in bed. I got up and went to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror fixing my hair a little. I then saw something shinny on my left hand. I held it up in front of me. It was a diamond ring. I let out a gasp to myself and starred at it. Is Tom proposing to me? I seen him at the door and I faced him. I held up my hand showing the ring. "What is this?" I asked. He cracked a smile and replied, "A ring." "I know what it is but, why is it on my finger?" He kneeled down on one knee taking my hand into his. "I know it may seem a little soon but, I can't see myself with any other woman. You are the only person who can bring a smile to my face. You are always there for me. I love you with all my heart and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Melony, will you marry me?" I turned away from him and began tearing up. I could believe what I was hearing. "Say something, please." I turned to him and wrapped my arms around his neck. I pulled away and caress his cheek smiling. "Yes. Yes I will marry you." I replied. Tom's face lite up and he crashed his lips to mine. "You have no idea how happy I am to hear you say yes. I love you darling." "I love you!"
