Angel's Eyes {hunter x hunter fanfiction}

Chapter 1

"NO!"

A young girl with short brown hair gasped, sweat forming on her face and trickled down her forehead.

She felt cold, petrified and even parched. Her head throbbing very hard as if her brain is threatening to get out of her skull.

She tried to recollect any remnants of what happened in her dream.

But unfortunately, she couldn't remember a thing.

She stared at the white ceiling above her.

That must have been some nasty dream, it felt...surreal

And very scary...

She stared at the ceiling once more.

"I need to get up,"

She waited for the pain to subside and lifted herself up. She stood from her bed.

Tried.

The second she made her first step out of bed, she fell backwards and her head throbbed once more.

"On second thought, after a few more minutes... my head hurts,"

She whimpered and closed her eyes once more.

....

She was at her apartment porche brushing her teeth when she saw it.

It was pure coincidence, the instant she went outside was exactly the time that the blimp was seen, flying only just across above a few kilometers where her porche is.

It was as if she could reach the blimp with just her two arms stretched wide.

But it wasn't the blimp that caught her attention fully---nor its size

But it was what was written on it

"Hunter examination
Deadline - December 31
Applications are open"

She was ecstatic, happy, nervous and excited--all four emotions fusing, joining into one. The girl smiled like a madman with her toothbrush still shoved in her mouth, her grin reaching from ear to ear.

She wasted no time and ran to her bathroom, quickly finishing brushing her teeth and did a quick shower.

This is my chance in becoming a hunter! A treasure and information hunter at that!

I've trained my body's strenght, stamina and studied my whole life in preparation for this day
