I watched as joseph lay in bed, motionless. How much time does someone stay unconscious for so long.

“He’s going to wake up. Don’t worry” Kim said while smiling at me.

I frowned, she always says that, but it’s been like twenty years since he fell asleep. How his body had managed to stay intact is a mystery to me.

Do vampires hibernate, I know I’ve heard stories about vampires sleeping for a long time, but is it the same.

“I have to go to work. I’ll see you late Emma” Kim said while walking away from me.

I don’t work, I don’t even sleep. I just stayed here near his bed. I’ll admit, I did fall asleep sometimes near him, or on his bed. But not much.

“Have fun” I whispered when I had heard the door close. I wasn’t even sure if she could hear me, we do have vampire senses but I wasn’t very loud.

I laid down on joseph’s bed after that, cuddling to him, trying not to hurt him.

“I love you” I whispered to him while kissing him lightly on the cheek.

My heart started pounding quickly after that, as I saw him mumble something, as if asleep.

“Please wake up, please wake up” I mumbled to myself as I watched him move around in bed, trying to get comfortable. He moved around until he caught onto me, grabbing me by my waist he pinned me down.

His eyes opened revealing his beautiful blue eyes, still as dark as I remember them.

“Hi” I heard him mumble as he started kissing my neck.

“You woke up on the happy side of the bed.” I giggled like a school girl, his kisses still sending electrical currents through my body.

“Hungry?” I asked him, trying to pull away from him but he wouldn’t let me.

He chuckled lightly, but still kissing down my neck. I shivered when I felt his fangs lightly touch my neck,

“We should get you something to eat” I said, but I didn’t try to pull away.

I have waited twenty five years in order to hear his sexy voice, or see his beautiful eyes. Just to simply talk to him, he here he is. Awake and kissing me like theirs no tomorrow.

He kisses trailed up my neck and onto my lips; he kissed me with so much passion that I felt my body go weak under him. But we were on his bed, so it didn’t really matter.

“I love you too” he said after he broke away from the kiss.

“I love you more” I replied.

He chuckled, his body was on top of mine, and I don’t mean that he was hovering above me, no his body was directly on mine. My body felt like it was on fire, it made me wonder what he felt.

“How do you feel when you touch me?” I asked him innocently. Voicing my thoughts.

He looked into my eyes and smiled. “Amazing” he said while trailing his finger down my chest and stomach. “I get this weird feeling, like electricity is coursing through my body. But it’s not enough… it’s never enough… all I want to do is kiss you until I’m completely satisfied.”

“But you’re never completely satisfied?” I asked, knowing the way he felt.

“Yea” he said while kissing me again.

“You’ve been asleep for twenty five years” I found myself saying.

He pulled away from me, his eyes wide in shock and disbelief.

I looked away from him, I could feel the tears starting up in my eyes. Again, I’ve been crying non-stop for twenty five years, and it amazes me that I even have tears left in me.

“Well” he said after a couple of seconds. “I need to make the time up.” He said while kissing my neck again.

I chuckled “what?” I asked him slightly confused.

“I haven’t kissed you for twenty five years… I’m going to make up all that time” he said while kissing me again, passionately.

“How are you going to make up for twenty five years, that’s a long time” I said teasingly and breathlessly after we finished our kiss.

“Watch me” he said while kissing me again, my arms wrapped themselves around his neck, kissing him. That’s all I could think about, I’ve waited a long time for this day and I am not letting him go easily.
