The forgotten voice

Chapter 4

"There's gonna be a talent show next week at your school, Do you wanna do it?" Hannah's mom asked.

"I do miss singing , but remember what bad people it brought? I don't want the same thing happening at my school too." Hannah replied.

" The school's neighbourhood is full of good people, I'm sure the school would be fine. In that case, what song will you do?" Her mother asked her.

" Maybe the one I wrote can be done in the show. What do you say?" Hannah questioned.

" Sounds great, but have a back up song just in case?" She asked.

"Okay mom, we'll see." Hannah replied.

While riding on the bus to school, Hannah thought about her new identity and what it meant.

" What's wrong? You look tense." Her friend Henry said.
He didn't know Autumn or about her true name but then again, she didn't want to believe any of it herself. She never did.

" I'm fine Henry, don't worry about silly old me! Now how about the girl you like? Have you talk to her yet?" Hannah asked.

" I told you! I talk to her everyday! She is just... oblivious." Henry huffed.

" Ok! Ok! Whatever you say you big scaredey cat!" Hannah said.

" Oh whatever." Henry said giving up.

"So you can't say who she is?" Hannah asked.
" No." Henry said flatly.
" Hair color?"
" No"
Eye color? You can say that right?"
" No"
" Oh come on! Not even eye color? Give me at least the first letter to her name!" Hannah complained.

" No way! You'd know immediately!" Henry stated.

" I don't see a problem there!"
Hannah said as the two laughed together.

" What's kick'in!" Autumn said.
"AAHHH!" Hannah said in surprise.
"AUTUMN!!!" Hannah screamed.
"Sorry Harmony! Oops! I ment Hannah! Sorry!" Autumn said in embarrassment.
" You know, I should be calm. Why? Because you are a figment of my imagination! You aren't real!" Hannah said confidently.
"No you're not! I'm real! Hannah I'm real!"Autumn tried to convince.

And it went on line that until Autumn gave up.
