The forgotten voice

Chapter 7

Hannah walked into Ms. Menik's class right after breakfast with Henry to
1) insure that she is on time to class
2) To get ahead in class work and maybe even
3) since Ms.Menik fit the description, she thought that before she says the code she ought to be sure that it's her.

" Hi Ms. Menik! What have we got today? You know, for class ? I just wanted a head start." Hannah said.

" What makes you think you're getting one? " the teacher asked simply.

"Well it was either
1) get a head start
Or
2) we can just... Get to know each other. I tell you my life if you tell me yours." She replied.

" Would you really do that? " she asked in curiosity.

" Yes, I would. At least... Until the bell rings. So please tell away!"
She informed.

" Well , I'm 46 and I had a husband and daughter, but ...
Something happened. I haven't seen them since. I don't think my daughter remembers me she was so young! She was only 2. I hear she is with another family. They I believe they sent her .... Here for school.

She is supposed to be 16 by now but,  even if she was here I wouldn't be able to fully recognize her for matters I can't say to a student. Heck I am not supposed to say a lot of this to you... I'm sorry." Then ms. Menik began to tear up and Hannah immediately went to comfort her and was going to ask what the name of the child was, the bell rang and she had to get to her seat.

" I am so sorry" Hannah said apologetically.

To Hannah it seemed to fit but, she needed to ask one last question before she'd say the code.

" Hey dad! Did mom tell you?" Hannah asked as she saw her dad come from work late again.

" yeah, she did! I was so crazy about it that I even thought she was pranking me! Looks like she was right as usual. So, any progress?" He asked unsure.

" actually, I still have one more question to ask." Hannah replied slowly.

"Go ahead kiddo, shoot!" He told her.

" at what age... Did you guys... Get me at?" Hannah asked hesitantly.

" well let's see, your mom was missing at 2 and your father I think gave you to us at 3... So you were around 3 years old." He said simply.

Hannah did get her answer but, the thing that happened to Ms. Menik has happened to a few parents every year due to people being stupid but it never meant she wouldn't be a suspect...

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't written so long! I've been busy with high school and not to mention another work that I'm doing. It's where I find prompts from online combine them and make them into first chapters or intros. Then you guys are supposed to vote on the one you want to be in full-on book. Your last voting day, is the day school ends which for me is in June. So please do check it out I have 4 different ones so far and I'm going to be making 14 maybe more. So you're going to have a lot to choose from. So pick wisely! And please do look at it cuz I know you guys love this book but the other one is awesome too so please do look at it I do need a summer project. This book that I'm posting now is already pre written. Just not on Wattpad I mean on actual paper. And yes there will be a sequel that's the one that I'm still working on but I'm almost done with it. So really it really depends on you guys and my schedule. If my schedule is hectic it's going to be hard to write these chapters cuz they are particularly long and if I don't have a schedule and you guys vote then I might post it earlier and more often.
