"You should leave. I want you to leave."

"Why? It's been so long since you've seen me, and I've seen you."

I slung my backpack onto my shoulder and slammed the car door. Mom gave a small goodbye wave through the window and drove off. I sighed, and walked into the building.

I seem to by sighing a lot lately.

A decent amount of students attended. Most of them I recognized from the halls of Rakuzan. The numbers weren't over the top, though.

Now I just have to endure four hours of uneventfulness and boredom. I slipped into my first class: math. The class was as normal as ever. Lectures, worksheets, in-class work problems, that of the like.

There was no bell, so many of the students had to inform the teacher when class ended by watching the clock. The teacher dismissed us to go to our next class. I packed my books and other supplies into my backpack, and exited the classroom.

Honestly, I didn't care that much about school anymore. Sure, school and keeping my grades consistent were very important to me before, but with all the other crap going on in my life right now, I really couldn't keep up with the schoolwork. There were people in the hallway chatting with each other, as there was a long time interim between classes. People were walking in both directions to get to their next classes, or they stayed in the same class if they had it for two periods.

Of the people who were going to their next class, I caught a glimpse of red.

It was Akashi. He was leaning against the wall by one of the classrooms, seeming to read a sheet of paper that was in his hand. I couldn't help but stare at him as I passed by him in the hallway.

No, it was not a stare of admiration.

It was just my luck when he decided to look up from whatever he was reading and catch me staring at him. I scowled and averted my eyes, continuing to walk down the hallway.

He probably thought that I liked him now.

From: [Full Name]
To: Me

Every thing will get better soon.

Who are you?

Trust me on that fact.

I stared at my phone, perplexed. Was this some sort of joke? A message from myself? There is some other-worldly stuff going on.

It's not every day you see a message to you from you, so it makes perfect sense to say that I had no idea what to do. I set my phone down on my bed. Could it be some stalker, a friend, an enemy? Was it even someone I knew? I know that not blocking this person would be the biggest regret of my life, but curiosity kills the cat. Yes, I'm curious about who this is, and maybe I'll find out someday.

My curiosity won over my rationality. And it would probably be the worst mistake I ever make in this life, or it could be the best. Either way, I wouldn't really mind.
