Prologue
Wind blew over their face, tousling his blond hair and her dark brown. He adjusted his goggles and sighed in exhaustion.
"You ok, hunny?" Johnney Knight asked his wife as she hugged her daughter protectively.
"We're both fine," Krystal Knight replied as she pecked her husband's cheek. "Concentrate on riding, I sense that they are near."
"I feel it too, smarty-pants-!" Johnney was about to make a witty comeback, but all of a sudden fireball was shot at them. He steered his dragon aside and avoid it. He looked back to see a pack of dragons and their riders after them. "Shit, they sent Gold's team after us. Initiating hyperdrive!"
"This is not a time to be quoting Han Solo right now!" Krystal shouted as she clutched her five year old daughter, Alex Knight, close to her.
'Why did you marry her again?' Johnney's dragon, Frost, asked through telepathy.
"I have no clue!" Johnney said with a laugh. "Fine then, let's kick it!" Johnney shouted, pulling on his dragon's ears and making race car noises.
"I don't want to hear your race car noises as the last thing I hear before I possibly may die!" Krystal shouted as Alex squirmed in her sleep, and Krystal started coo her to relax.
'Stop pulling my ear you dumbfuck!' Frost growled in his head as Johnney sighed in exasperation.
"You all are against me! Let me have some fun before I die!" Johnney whined as Krystal groaned.
"Hurry up and get a bit closer to the ground, I need to find out where Ella's house is!" Krystal ordered as Johnney rolled his eyes and went a few feet lower. "Is that what you call going lower?!"
"Stop shouting in my ear woman!" he replied as Frost rolled his eyes at the stupid couple. She was about to shout back at him when she spotted a red roofed house.
"That's it! Land! Land you idiot, land! I said land!" Krystal said as Johnney looked down at the house. Suddenly mulitple lightenning bolts shot out at them. She squeaked in surprise as Johnney manuvored and dodged all of them with ease.
"Woman... You want me to land... with these monkeys chasing after us and right on our tail with bloodlust intentions?" Johnney asked increduously. She looked thoughtfully back at their pursuers.
"You're right. One of us, meaning you, will need to be a distraction while I go to Ella's house," Krystal instructed. Johnney nodded excitedly with a lopsidded excited grin. He kisses Alex's forehead and whispered into her ear.
"Remember no man will ever love you more then your daddy does. Always remember, you were destined for greater things in life... then your mother..." Johnney said and smirked at his horror-stricken wife. She glared at him menacingly with her black piercing eyes.
"What the hell-?!" Krystal shouted, but Johnney grabbed her chin and pulled her face closer, kissing her lips passionately.
"Love you babe..." he whispered hotly against her lips. Her eye twitched but she justed looked away to hide her blush. "I'll miss you sweetheart, never forget..." he whispered to Alex, and then looked at his wife. "So what are we going to do now?" he asked her.
"How are we going to land or at least get close enough to the ground so I can get to her house...?" She trailed off as she saw Johnney's slow developing grin. "What...?"
"Who said we were landing?" he asked her with his evil grin. She looked at him with wide eyed confusion.
"What do you mean-?" she started to ask, but was cut off when Johnney suddenly kicked her off the dragon, Alex sleeping in her arms.
