Everything was solved. Humans will stop being taken from their homes, Trico's can do their own things without being controlled, and the boy with his Trico survived. Although just barely.
However there was one more mission to complete, and that was delivering the boy home safely. With the wind under the beast's wings, he sore through the sky.
Once he saw a village that he recognized, Trico descended down. At the speed he was going though, the landing will be anything but smooth and painless.
Crashing, Trico had landed. Immidently other humans surrounded him. They shoved spear into him as he was trying to throw up his friend. Trico wanted the boy to be alright. He knew the village will be the only place for that.
When Trico finally manage to throw up the boy, a man in white rushed over and picked him up. The man turned his back to Trico while staring at the boy.
The boy used everything within himself to say, "stop" and, "please don't hurt him." However the only thing that came out was, "Tri... Co..."
The man in white slowly realized that every time the boy said the beast's name it would hesitate.
Then making the man jump, the boy had grabbed onto his shirt tightly. "Sta... P... Sto... Stoo... No," You could hear the struggle the boy was having. "Pl... Plea... Se."
The man turned around and commanded the troops to stop and step away from the beast. The troops stayed close by but did take a few steps back. The man wanted to see what would happen. Can this boy really control the beast?
Trico gave a small whimper in which the boy replied with saying his name. "Tri... Co... No... H.." The boy went limp, breathing heavy. The man in white was stuck between a hard place and a rock.
For years, and years these beast have been taking people. Now one sits on their land, injured, easy to kill, and this boy wants to keep it alive?
He found himself leaning toward the boy. Yes, Trico's still in fact should not be trusted. However this one brought back the boy. This one stop fighting when the humans backed away.
The man wanted to test his limits too. How close can he get? Will this beast eat him if he's holding the boy?
Closer he got until he was a foot away. Trico reached his head out and nudged the boy in this arms. Weakly he looked over and smiled at Trico.
"May I touch it?" The man asked hearing many gasp from behind him.
He watched as the boy attempted to nod his head yes. Therefore, slowly the man reached out. Trico closed his eyes and edged forward. The man was surprise by the feel of the creature. Then Trico made a noise, a lot like a purr.
The man pulled his hand away and turned around, "This beast shall not be attacked. We shall let it be, for the boy. However if we see it attacking anyone, attack it."
With that he gave the boy to a nurse who rushed off to help him. Trico purking his ears up, watching until he no longer saw the boy.
