Everyday the villagers would catch the boy with Trico. They'd call him when he was needed but mainly they left him alone. Figuring that it'll be best to let the one who can control the beast to stay with the beast.

However throughout the day they'll see the boy run into the market and ask for food for Trico. To see if Trico would like this type of food this time. The villagers would always give out a small portion just in case Trico doesn't like it because then they're not wasting much. But the one giving the food always give the boy a piece too to make sure he eats.

Although no food as been an OK supplement for the barrels. Each time Binjola would give a new food to Trico he'd end up shaking his head as though he didn't like it. The boy began to really worry causing him to pace around his friend.

The stuff in the barrels was able to help heal Trico fastly. Now it's been about a week and Trico hasn't gotten any real food. Binjola was afriad that Trico would die from starvation or lose of blood.

Giving up wasn't an option for the boy though. He tried everything he could find but humans. When the boy would run off into the woods, to the nearby lake, or in the village a roar would be heard.

"Excuse me, is it ok if I feed this to Trico?" Binjola asked pointing to the newest kill.

A roar was heard causing the boy to look in the direction of Trico. The one selling the meat cut a piece off. "Why does he roar everytime you're not with him?"

"To make sure I'm OK. Back at the place that I was taken to there would be these guard things that attacked me. I'd always call for Trico. After while Trico picked it up and started calling out to me too."

The one selling handed the boy the wrapped up piece of meat. "He picked things up from you?"

"Yep! Like diving, jumping, figuring out things, and-"

Another roar came out but it was a different kind of roar. One that put panic in the boy. Cutting his sentence short, he turned and ran off to Trico. Accidentally dropping and leaving the piece of meat behind.

"TRICO!" He called out to his companion who still couldn't move. Others also recognize the different roar and came out to the beast.

The boy ran but stop to see Trico was looking behind him up in the sky. Binjola also caught glimps of it, another Trico.

Binjola had more panic. If this Trico attacks his Trico then his Trico can actually die.

As fast as his legs could carry him, he sprinted toward Trico. "Trico," The boy said out of breath jumping on his chest. He started to climb up his friend. Helplessly they watched as the other Trico approached closer and closer.

"Why would another Trico be coming?!" A women yelled her question in fear to the boy.

"I don't know."

"You don't know!"

The beast was now hovering above the grass field in which Trico laid. Slowly the other Trico descended toward the ground.

The boy knows if this Trico attacked his then his Trico will die. The boy couldn't stop a Trico.

When the other landed, the boy hoped off. He recognized this Trico. It was the first Trico that fought against his. He still had his body armor on and part of his helmet.

The other Trico roared at the other in which Binjola's Trico roared back.

A man walked slowely toward the boy until he was behind him. Slowly, as though to prevent the other Trico from detecting his presence, he bent down to whisper to the boy.

"Is it dangerous?"

Binjola looked up at the other Trico's eyes. They were black not purple. "No, their eyes are black."

"And that matters why?"

"When they feel threatened or want to attack their eyes are purple."

The other man nodded and once again slowly went back to the other villagers. He told them what the boy said.

The other Trcio got into a strange procession and begin to do this weird movement. It was although he wanted to get something up from inside him.

After a bit of watching him the other Trico spit something up. At first the boy was disgusted but his eyes grew wide.

"Food!" The boy rushed over to the glowing blue barrel. He picked it up and turned toward his Trico. He was meet with a yellow eyed, ears perked, and eager friend.

The boy stood a distances away so Trico was able to get the food from him. But instead the boy threw the barrel and Trico caught it mid-air.

Binjola heard a noise behind him therefore he went to see what it was. It sounded like someone was regurgitating. He turned around to see three more barrels on the floor.

Ecstatic, the boy feed one by one to Trico. After the fourth one Trcio went to stand up. He manage to get on all four legs but then his back left leg gave out causing Trico to go down again. Binjola ran over and rubbed the still injured leg.

"It's OK. You're OK."

He rememeber that this leg was the one that was tugged on by another Trico. That was during the last fight they both fought.

The other Trico shook his body catching Binjola's attention. He ran over the other Trico. They stared at each other for a bit. The villagers whisperes to each other asking if the boy can understand the Tricos? Then they watched as the boy climbed up the other Trico and unhook the rest of the beast mask and armor.

Once again the beast shook when the armor hit the ground. This time hard enough to where the boy couldn't stay on. He fell to the ground but got right back up. He walked to the front of the Trico. Once it stop shaking they made eye contact again.

"Thank you," The boy said. Sure the four barrels wasn't enough to heal Trico entirely but it was enough to fill him.

Binjola's Trico gave a friendly roar to the other, who in return gave a friendly roar back before flying off.

The boy watched as the other Trico flew away. He thought it was strange that it came just to give his Trico some food but he was grateful for it. Binjola wondered if it'll be back any time soon.

Some villagers; the protecters and fighters ran over to the armor left behind. More went over to it. They began talking about how they can use it, or sell it.

Others such as the chief, a nurse, and a few brave others went to the boy. The chief ruffled his hair saying that if he keeps this up then he'll be chief by his teen years. Binjola just laughed at that.

The nurse asked if Trico was alright. They both watched as the few others were all trying to touch Trico. They were brave yet shaking with fear.

"He's better but not completely alright." Binjola answered the nurse before walking over to the few. He helped them touch Trico.

The few freaked out at first but quickly warmed up with smiles as they heard Trico purr.

Binjola then went through and check Trico's injuries. Most has healed but his neck, leg, and tail.

The boy went to Trico face and smiled at him. Maybe, just maybe, Trico can heal completely on his own now. He began to also pet his friend.
