For a moment, I think the world suddenly stopped revolving.
It's as if everything around me stopped, even my breathing. I know I should not assume about things that are impossible to think of, but I just can't help to think of what he's going to say to me.
Could it be that he actually...
"I l—"
"Suzu! Kento!"
And in just a snap, everything went back to reality.
I sneakily glanced at Kento, and you can see through his eyes that he's sad.
Why?
"It seems like the two of you were in a deep conversation, huh?" Czairo smirked at the two of us, but I looked away instead.
"Shut up," I heard Kento say. "What are the two of you doing here anyway?"
Maori cleared her throat, causing me to raise a brow. Usually, Maori would always speak in a talkative manner. I wonder why she's different today.
"Ro—I mean, me and Ro saw the both of you while we were on our way home." She then paused to flash a smile, a smile that was not so happy.
An unusual smile.
I furrowed my brows. Something feels so wrong..
"Ah, I just remembered, do you guys wanna eat dinner at the restaurant before we walk home?" Czairo asked, and all of us nodded.
I seriously have to voice out all of my thoughts.

"Yes, that would be all. Thank you!"
Czairo sat beside Kento, while Maori sat beside me. I'm facing Kento and Maori's facing Czairo.
We settled on choosing an outdoor restaurant afterall.
"M-Maori," I mumbled. She then blatantly looked at me. "Hm?"
"Do.. do you have extra chopsticks? I don't have any—"
"Suzu! Take mine instead." Czairo said while smiling.
I was about to get it when Kento pulled my hand and placed his chopsticks instead.
And once again, my heart raced.
"Stupid Ro. If you give yours, how are you gonna eat?"
"Oh, well. I just realized that!" Czairo laughed.
"You really gotta use that brain of y—"
"Th-thank you, Kento.." I said without even meeting his gaze. I swallowed the lump forming in my throat as I tried to calm my breathing.
"N-No problem.."
But then suddenly, I heard Maori sigh.
"Why is the food taking so long? My stomach is already growling!" She pouted, and there, I saw sadness in her eyes. There must be a reason behind that..
Somehow, she still managed to smile despite the sadness that she's feeling.
"W-Why are you looking at me like that, Suzu? Let me guess, you're probably thinking that I'm like a hungry pig who wants to eat already, eh?" I shook my head.
"No, i-it's nothing."
I just want to know the reason behind her sadness.
