Should I enter? Should I not enter? Should I enter? Should I not enter? Should I...?
"Maybe I shouldn't!" I cried out in frustration, clutching on the lunchbox I was holding tightly.
Dazai told me that he can't meet me in our usual lunch place that's why I decided to visit him myself. It took me a lot of courage to ascend the stairs to their office room but it seems like it will take ten years of my life to enter the room itself.
I can clearly hear the loud playful banter just behind this wooden door. Disrupting their fun would make me feel really guilty.
"I should just go home." I finally decided, turning my back from the door.
"Could you be...?"
It was a beautiful woman with a butterfly pin on her hair. She seems familiar.
"Miss...?"
It was the girl that was glaring at me. She's going to insult me. I can already see it coming. It's because I was too noisy. It's because I don't have any consideration towards the people around me.
She found me to cast her revenge!
"A-ah!" I squealed out.
My vision blurred, followed by my mind losing control of my body. Everything went dark.
'I just hope that the lunchbox is still alright.'

"Wait, so she fainted when she saw Yosano-san?" a chirpy male voice asked. "Well, I can't blame her- Just kidding, don't look at me like that."
"Why did she faint though?" and came a feeling of someone poking my cheek.
"I think she remembers me from the subway incident."
"Wow. She's pretty. She reminds me of the sun!"
"Or snow. I think snow suits her better."
"Brother, I don't like that tone you're giving!"
"H-huh?"
...
I have been faking my sleep for almost half an hour now. My head started to itch and I don't have the nerve to scratch it for they might know that I've been faking.
Dazai is not around so no one can cover for me to escape. What should I do?
"Armed Detective Agency?" I asked.
He was humming random tunes as he swayed our clasped hands back and forth.
"Yup! I work there!" he answered. "All my coworkers in there show so much potential. Dull days aren't present- who am I kidding? There are dull days but most days are fun."
"... Are they nice?"
"Hmm... I guess so." he closed his eyes as if he was in deep thought. "If they were to see you, they'll probably gush and ask why you're so adorable."
I rolled my eyes. "Stop flattering me."
"I'm not flattering you. They'll accept you just like how they would accept a new member."
Should I grab the opportunity presented to me then?
I just don't need to overthink and do it.
I slowly opened my eyes, squinting to adjust my vision to the light.
"Oh. She's up!"
I sat up, clutching on my head -and secretly scratching it-.
"...I-I'm sorry for fainting." I softly apologized, bowing.
"Now, now. Don't sweat over it. Yosano-san is really scary if you ask me."
I glanced at the male who just spoke. He reminds me of a
"Cat." I blurted out, making me cover my mouth.
The white haired guy next to me stifled a laughter as the person I called a cat remained unaffected, munching on the bag of chips he's holding. The woman in the subway was leaning on the wall, merely giving a defeated smile. Next to her was a male with a girl clinging on his arm.
"Do you remember me?" the white haired guy asked. "I called you when Dazai-san tried to commit suicide once. My name is Atsushi Nakajima."
"Oh! I remember!" I smiled, giving him another bow. "Thank you for taking care of Dazai till now."
"Please don't bow! He's the one who took care of me, after all." Nakajima said.
I gave my small greeting, introducing myself in the process. After that, I managed to catch all their names.
Everyone was lively and I found myself slowly opening up to them. It feels like they have the magic Dazai also has. The difference is that Dazai has a way more powerful effect on me.
"Darling?" a familiar voice called out.
The voice I can never get tired off. The voice of the person I love.
"I told you that I don't like pet names." I lightly scolded as I watch him walk over the couch where I am seated.
"Hmm. Really?" he asked. "Why are you blushing then?"
"It's... Embarrassing." I whispered.
"So cute~" he cooed, leaning to give my forehead a kiss. "Don't get mad now, Darling. I love you."
"...I love you too." I whispered.
"Wow." Nakajima suddenly interjected.
...I forgot that there are other people with us. How dumb can I get!?
