Allison's POV
"Hey I'm a Keeley, the president of the debate team, I will like to invite you to our meetings every Tuesdays and Thursdays during lunch...."
"I'm not.."
"We don't tolerate lateness.."
"She is not interested, so run along" a familiar male voice ordered
The dark haired girl ran as fast as her legs could carry her
"thanks Dorian"
"you are welcome hottie, so are you coming for the big game on Friday?" he asked
"You mean football game? No thanks" I answered
"Why not?"
"I'm not a fan of football"
"Come on! Please, for me" he whined pouting
Who could resist a hot boy pouting?
"Okay whatever"
"Come see me practice?" He asked
"I agreed to come for the game, don't push your luck" I said
"Okay okay... but you and Cree can watch me do my thing"
"First, Cree is in a relationship, so she'll be watching her boyfriend not you, second, she is a cheerleader, which means she'll be practicing too... I'm not convinced" I stated
"Okay, how about you get to see me shirtless before the practice" he said wriggling his eyebrows
I looked at his torso then back at his face
"Nah" I said walking forward
He stood there a little before running after me
"You don't mean that" he said
"I do" I said smirking at him
"Ugh... just come, please!!!" he pleaded
"Okay okay.... but I still get to see you shirtless" I said
"I knew you wanted to!" he exclaimed as I laughed

Immediately the last bell rang I packed my bag and headed to the field
When I got there, I scanned the field for Dorian and immediately found him waving me over and guess what? He was shirtless
"Like what you see?" He asked wriggling his eyebrows
"Nah I've seen better" I lied
"Yeah right" he said
"Is there something going on between you guys?" Cree asked appearing behind Dorian wriggling her eyebrows
"No!" I said, the same time Dorian said"maybe"
I stepped on his foot hard
"Ow!" He screamed
I smirked at him
"Dorian more practice less flirting!" Jake yelled
"Aye aye captain!" Dorian yelled back
"See you later ladies" he said running back to the locker room to put on his uniform
"You coming for the game?" Cree asked
"Yeah.. I kinda promised Dorian I'll come" I answered
"Okay then, I gotta go.. my girls are waiting for me.. see ya!" She said aid running off to the group of cheerleaders
I found a seat on the bleachers and concentrated on the field
I saw Jake looking at me still scowling
What the hell is wrong with him?

"Mom? Steph? Anyone home?" I yelled out when I got home
"Allison! Dear.. come help me out" my mom answered from the kitchen
I headed to the kitchen
"What's with all the food?" I asked eyeing the roasted chicken
"I'm having important guests for dinner" she replied
"Are they that important?" I asked washing my hands to help out
"It's the mayor and his family" she answered
"What? Why?.. did something happen?" I asked worriedly
"Nothing happened dear.. Cheryl, the mayor's wife and I are working in the same hospital.. we became friends and she promised to come over for dinner" she said
"Wow mom, a week of staying here and you are already having the mayor over for dinner" I teased as she laughed
Just then the doorbell rang
"I'll get it" I told mom and headed for the door
I opened the door and came face to face with a young woman in her thirties or so and a man who looked a few years older than her
"Hey, I'm Cheryl, this is my husband John, we've come to see your mother?" She said in a calm voice
"Sure, come in" I said opening the door wider for them to enter
"Cheryl! I'm so glad you could make it" mom said giving her a hug
"I promised, didn't i?" She replied smiling
"And you must be John" mom said referring to the man
"Yes I am, it's nice to see you" he said shaking her hand
"Same here, have your seat, I'll set the table" mom said
"I'll take care of it.. don't worry" I told mom and went to the kitchen
After grabbing the tray and walking back to the dining room
Then I noticed that there was another guest sitting next to John that I didn't notice before
Jake..
I wanted to turn around and walk back to the kitchen but I heard my mom call out my name
"Allison! There you are" she said
"Meet Jake.. Jake this is my daughter..."
"Allison" he interrupted
This is the first time I've ever heard him say my name
"You know each other?" Mom asked
"Yeah, from school" I answered
"Perfect! Let's eat then" mom said as we all take our seats
