Jake's POV
It was pretty early but Jack, one of my guys insisted that he wanted to see me. I don't know the reason but I feel it has something to do with Tony. Is he planning to make a move?
I walked out of my house into my silver Porsche, Yeah it pays to be a mayor's son, and drove to the address he sent to me.
When I reached the Lodge, I parked my car in the parking lot before walking through the glass doors. The guards flanking it nod their heads at me before letting me in. It has been a long time since I stepped in here.
Jack, Louis and Dorian were already seated waiting for me. Jack walked over to me as soon as he saw me.
"What's the deal?" I asked him
"You wouldn't believe who we spotted with Tony last night" Jack said handing me his iPad
I stared at the picture displaying on the screen
"Cree?. I'm sure its nothing serious, we go to the same school, maybe she's his booty call or something" I said and flinched a little, its a little weird talking about Cree that way, I mean we've known each other basically our whole lives.
"Yeah but remember that Cree knows about Tony, she knows he's the enemy and in this pic it seemed like they were pretty engrossed in a serious conversation" Jack continued urging me to look closely
"So what are you implying? That Cree's on Tony's side now?" I asked looking at them in disbelief
"It could happen Jake, you broke her heart remember?" Dorian said getting up from his seat.
"I can't believe you'd say that Dorian, I know Cree and she'll never do that" I argued.
"Told you he wouldn't listen" Louis muttered to Dorian and Jack before getting up himself
"Why don't you listen to this.. It was a phone call that Cree made" Louis said.
"Your stupid plan did not work Tony, the bitch is still flanking all over Jake" Than was Cree's voice alright
"I tried my best Cree bear, I sent one of my best men, I can't really monitor anything if I'm not there"
"You don't have to come here to get rid of her"
"Well I think I have to, so if you want my help, I will have to come over to Kansas"
"Ugh!.. Okay, but you have to promise you won't bother Jake"
"Sure Cree bear"
Are you kidding me? Cree bear?
"When was this?" I asked in the verge of snapping
"A day before Tony moved here, we wanted to have proof that it was Bradshaw that she was talking to before we told you but-"
"What do you mean PROOF?! Who else has that fucking stupid accent?!!" I yelled.
"Jake calm down-"
"Don't fucking tell me what to do Dorian or else I'll-"
A guard rushed in immediately cutting off my sentence
"Boss, I have news" The burly guy said
"What is it?" I asked
"Tony's men were spotted not to far from here, they abducted two girls and-" he stopped mid sentence
"And what Rufus?" I asked impatiently
"Your girlfriend was one of them" he completed.
All the colours drained from my face as I stared at him.
"What the fuck.. How did that happen? I thought we told Ben to follow her everywhere!" Dorian yelled
"She left home pretty early! Ben didn't expect that, he was asleep and-"
"Enough. Jack I want you to track down Tony's whereabouts and call me immediately, Dorian Louis, follow me" I said running into my car
I'm coming princess, I'll make sure I find you, no matter what it takes.
