Snape interlocked his fingers as I flipped through a potions textbook that laid on his shelf.
"Finally, the position you've always wanted," I smirked at him before returning my attention to the notes in the book.
       Don't cut; crush
"Several years later, yes," he shook his head, stringy hair staying in place.
"What is he planning?" I burst out. Snape sighed.
"I thought you were coming to see me just to see me," he lifted an eyebrow, a hint of a smile in this eyes before it disappeared. "He wants Draco to murder Dumbledore.."
Strange though. I swore he wanted me to pretend to kill him. I scratched at my temple and twisted a lock of hair around my finger.
"The Dark Lord doesn't know that though," Snape rubbed his hand along his chin. As he was deep in thought I slid the old, tattered book into my pocket.
"Severus, do you know about the horcuxes?" I licked my lips and stared out the main paned window. The only that was shuttered in his office reside directly behind his desk. The bright glow looked strange behind his figure.
"I have...heard...about some happenings but nothing more. It could all be silly rumors."
"Dumbledore says it is true.." I gave a small shrug and stood abruptly. "I'll check you later Snape."
Slowly, I walked through the castle to the empty potions class room. I unlocked the door and slid in, sliding my hand along the wall to the small shuttered window, the only one to let some light into the room. I charmed it open before I found the bookshelf. Spare copies of textbooks laid in neat stacks along the right wall. I gently pulled out the old potion book and slid it into the shelf where it sat, snug with the other books.

The air was cold for late august as I leaned out one of the flats window to stare at the buildings around me. From the window I could look out on muggle London and have not a soul see me.
Cold hair shift my hair around my face. I missed my father. As awkward as it seems to miss him. A tear slid down my wind burnt cheek when I heard a bang, making me jump and whip around. I pulled out my want and held it out. George raised his hands, showing he meant no harm. I heaved a sigh of relief before stowing my wand back in my pocket.
George blushed and turned back to what he was doing. His eyes seemed angry as he went into his room and slammed the door loudly. I rubbed at my forehead and turned to the still wide open window. If only I could live in a different place. A place where no one knew me. Yet, I knew that couldn't happen just yet.
