and after that.

that was the day laur and I became

inseparable.

we hung out everyday for these past two weeks and now it was already time for break..

"Can you believe it's time for winter break? already." Laur exhaled as she pulled her mini coop into a vacant parking space

"I know god." I sighed "I hate Christmas."

"What? Are you kidding me!" She exclaimed "Why?"

"It's just too..I don't know..jolly." I replied undoing the seatbelt "and plus I never really celebrate it my parents aren't into the whole Christmas thing."

"Aren't you guys religious?"

"Yeah." I responded "But were not the celebratory religious type you know?"

"You're totally coming over to my house this Christmas."

"Oh god no." I stepped out of Laurs car closing the door shut behind me

she locked the car and we both walked around the front of the car until we were walking side by side

"You're coming over and that's final." She spoke "I feel like I'm missing something." Laur whispered to herself as she stopped walking "That's what it is, I forgot my coffee in the car hold my books?"

I didn't have time to respond Laurs books came crashing down on top of mine "Sure.."

Laur ran back to the car and I stood around awkwardly watching her until someone crashed into me sending my stuff and Laurs falling to the cold icy ground beneath our feet thankfully none of the papers fell from out of the binders

"I'm so sorry I didn't even see y-" The persons tone was rather dry "oh It's just you."

It was shawn.

I haven't spoken to shawn yet alone seen him in two weeks

he'd become invisible to me

but I guess the reality was

he was never really invisible

because here he stood so crystal clearly in my view

"How about you watch where you're going next time jack ass." I snapped as I began to pick up the binders

Shawn reached out to touch one of the books "Don't. I got it."

"Well forgive me for not trying to freeze my ass of it's cold."

"It's the middle of December what do you expect sunshine and rainbows?" I sarcastically asked

"Well, if that was possible it'd be nice." He replied standing to his feet "You know all this talk about weather reminds me we never finished our song that just so miraculously happens to be due hmm.." he trailed off "Today."

"That's your fault."

"No I believe that it's yours." Shawn replied "You're the one who wouldn't let me come over."

"Why would I let you come over after you ridiculed me in front of the whole goddamn school?" I questioned as anger began to flood its way into my system

"I was defending myself you accused me of wanting to come over just so I could fuck."

"I never said that."

"Well you sure as hell made the insinuation."

"Well why did it matter hm?" I inquired "You know since I'm not your type." I held quotation marks up around that last statement

Shawn shifted his eyes downward towards the ground feet and shook his head scoffing "You don't get it."

"What's there to get Shawn? You made everything perfectly clear."

"No!" He shouted "Anna when I said that I-"

"What's going on." I looked past Shawn and my vision focused on Laur she took a sip of her coffee and glared at Shawn angrily

"Nothing." I quietly replied tucking my hair behind my ear "Shawn was just apologizing right shawn?"

his eyes shifted back and fourth between Laur and I "Right."

"Well it's about time." Laur mumbled

"You ready to go?" She looked at me and I nodded
