The alarm began to chirp at 6:30 am. Morgan groaned as she turned over and hit the snooze button. She laid still for long enough to hear rustling in the sheets next to her. Morgan's eyes shot open. Slowly she turned her head to see Daniel trying to fall back asleep. Her heart rate skyrocketed as she returned to her original position.

Daniel! She thought, He slept over last night. What on earth do I do? I have work! Do I just get up quietly and leave him a note? Do I wake him up?

"Good morning" Daniel said in a very deep, groggy voice.

Morgan turned around to see him yawn while rubbing his eyes. Then he looked at her. Her heart skipped a beat.

"Good morning. Ahem." She cleared her throat.

They continued to look at eachother until a slight smirk developed on Daniels face. Morgan immediately realized she probably had bed head and blushed. She got out of bed quite quickly.

"Uh, so I do actually have work today. So I'm going to get dressed and stuff. Take your time getting out of bed." Morgan said as she gathered clothes for the day and headed for the bathroom.

"Alright, thanks." Daniel said as she rushed quite quickly out of the room. He sat up on the bed and looked around. His phone was on the nightstand, he picked it up. Dead. He placed it back and looked around the room. He noticed some picture framed on the wall. Getting up, he took a closer look at them. They all contained unfamiliar people. Frowning, he started to realize he did not know who else was in her life. The urge to find out more about Morgan and her life welled up inside of him. He let out a large sigh and looked down as he scratched his head. He realized that that he was only wearing boxers and walked into the living room. He grabbed his backpack and returned to the bedroom to change and freshen up.

In the bathroom, Morgan was standing in front of the sink, having a momentary panic attack. She placed her hands on her chest and concentrated on breathing to calm herself and bring herself back to reality. Without thinking of her guest, she tried to walk through her normal morning ritual. Rinse her face, brush her hair and pinned parts of it back. Getting dressed, she could start to smell coffee from the kitchen. Taking a deep inhale, she applied some eyeliner, mascara and perfume.
You got this. She thought to herself as she went to the kitchen.

Walking out of the bedroom, the warm smell of coffee hit his nose. Daniel went to the kitchen to find Morgan, dressed nicely with minimal makeup on, sipping a cup of coffee. He walked over to her and pulled her into a hug. She smelled of a fresh floral perfume.

"I'm sorry, you probably don't wake up this early." Morgan said apologetically.

Daniel laughed. "Yea I haven't woken up this early in a very long time. It's alright though. So what's the plan for today?" He said, voice still groggy and deep.

She pulled away from him, bashful, and made her way to the fridge. "First, do you want anything for breakfast? I've got waffles, bread and eggs." Morgan asked as she pulled out some bread.

"I'll have whatever your having."

"Alright, peanut butter toast with bananas. I hope your not allergic."

He shook his head as she prepared their meal.

"Well," Morgan started, "I have to go to work. I work until 5 pm today and I'll be home around 5:20 pm. Same as any other Thursday. You are welcome to stay at my place all day but I'm not sure you would want to-"

"No." He cut her off, "It's alright, I'll head home. I have work to do as well." Daniel said, almost dissapointed.

"Ahh, that's good." The toaster oven ringed as Morgan took out the peanut butter and two bananas.

Daniel watched as Morgan made their breakfast. How nice is this? Daniel thought, Morgan making me breakfast at an ungodly early time.

Morgan put the plates on the table along with some drinks. They sat at the kitchen table and began their meal with a few moments of silence.

"Uh so-" Morgan started awkwardly.

"This weekend. I want to see you again this weekend." Daniel stated boldy.

"Yea sure. That's fine with me. I'm pretty sure I have this weekend free. What did you want to do?" Morgan replied, starting to calm down a little.

"I don't care. Either I'll come to see you again, or you can come see me. I usually do work during the weekend so I guess it would be better if you could come to me" Daniel said in between bites of toast.

"Alright!" She replied, a little too quickly. "I'll come to you!"

He smiled at her as they finished their meal. Daniel gathered his small amount of items as Morgan finished getting ready for work. They walked out of the condo to the elevator. Daniel reached for Morgan's hand as they waited. Suprised, she looked at his hand while blushing. They rode the elevator in silence, holding hands.

"I'll walk you to your car." Daniel said as they exited the elevator.

They made their way to the parking lot and her designated parking spot. Letting go of his hand, she unlocked her car and started to fiddle with her keys.

"Hey." He said, lifting his hand to her face. Gently touching her chin, he made her look at him. Cupping her face gently, he looked into her eyes for a moment before leaning down to kiss her. It was a long and sweet kiss that ended too quickly for either of them.

"You have a good day at work and I'll talk to you when you get home. Ok?" Daniel said.

"Alright, I will. You drive safe on your way home."

"Bye."

"Bye."

He leaned in for one last kiss before giving her a smile and walking away. She waved at him and watched him walk for a moment. She snapped out of her trance and hurried into the car. Starting it, she turned off the radio and sat for a moment.

"What on earth just happened." She said out loud to herself. She slapped her own cheeks and let out a large breath. "Focus. Time for work."
