Mara POV

"Mara!!"

My mother's loud voice reached my ears. Why does everyone keep shouting these days?

It is clear she wasn't going to stop shouting my name until I made a sound of being alive and awake.

I felt guilty for not telling anyone about my mate and how he rejected me. I am trying my best to forget about him but he keeps appearing in mind every once in a while. My parents(Ryan and Vanessa) think it is my wolf powers because I am a white wolf.

At the age of 16-19 when a white wolf has transform he/she starts obtaining powers.
We are special and very rare. The moon goddess blessed us with powers to help support the packs. My mom is from a white wolf pack, her power is Empath. This is mostly for kids but she is able to feel the emotions of others. Immediately after she found her mate, she left the pack. No one in this pack knows that she is a white wolf except the Alpha and Luna.

My parents are planning on having a meeting with Alpha Ace and Luna Liza to inform them that I am a white wolf next week.
Thinking of a plan on how to avoid Xander, the door slammed open and my mother came rushing in. She looked like she was about to burst out of frustration but it changed when she saw my expression and she understood that I wasn't feeling good.

"Honey are you okay?" She asked with worry and concern.

"I'm fine mom. Can I stay at home today?"

"Sure. I would call your school to tell them you are sick"

Wow that was easy. I thought she would protest but I guess my condition is worse than I thought.

Having all day to myself. I thought about what I was going to do.
Might as well start by playing a song. As I walked to the bathroom to do my business I turned on Taeyang "eyes,nose,lips" english version by Eric Nam and opened up the window for fresh air.

Dressing up for a run. Yes I am going for a run. Ever since the whole rejection thing my wolf Di hasn't had a run. I am not allowed to shift into my wolf and start running carelessly but I do have a secret hideout that my mother took me to when she found out I am just like her.

It is far away from the pack house and the territory but not too close to the boundaries.

The sound of crushing grasses was oddly satisfying and I found it comforting to be around nature. It felt good to be outside.

As I moved closer to my secret spot I become excited. Each step I take relaxes my head from all the problems I have.

Shifting into a white with mixture of  a little light brown fur wolf with bright yellow almost golden eyes. I felt good bad emotions rush through me
Good because I am in my wolf wolf which means everything is heightened and bad because I am scared someone will find me in the daylight.

Running with full speed my wolf Di finally decided it was time for water after thirty rounds.
Watching my reflection in the lake which looks so picturesque I held a loud growl coming from behind.

I panicked but the wolf is a bit far away from me so I immediately ran to my hiding spot.
As I changed back into my clothes I heard a familiar voice which send chills  down my spine. Xander who doesn't seem to notice me looked so frustrated and unhappy.
My hands reached out to touch  the line on his forehead that looks unbelievably cute and adorable from distance, but then  I suddenly remembered what he did to me.

I need to be strong and I need to get away from him as soon as possible. I also need food to eat because I am starving.
Speaking of food my stomach decided to drag Xander's attention towards my direction with a very loud growl.
