Emilia couldn't believe her eyes. LazyTown was so bright. Her city seemed to barely have any color in comparison, having always been overly dull. In all honesty, she was glad that her godmother, Bessie, had invited her to visit for the summer. It would give Emilia a chance to train in more peaceful conditions, something her physical therapist had recommended since Emilia had injured her ankle while running cross country a few months ago.

Emilia read the address Bessie had given her, noticing the house wasn't much farther. Emilia picked up her two suitcases and began walking in that direction, carrying a sports bag on her back. She immediately noticed her godmother lounging on the front lawn, her face covered with a facial mask and cucumbers over her eyes, much to Emilia's amusement.

"Bessie?" she asked. She placed her suitcases on the ground beside her. Even though she could recognize Bessie's hair, Emilia wanted to be positive that this woman was her godmother.

"Yes, yes! Who are you? I'm quite busy," Bessie complained, not in the mood to be disturbed.

"It's Emilia," she replied.

Bessie suddenly sat up. She ripped the two cucumbers off her eyes and gasped loudly at the sight of her goddaughter. Emilia had gotten so tall since she'd last seen her. Bessie quickly took Emilia's hand in her own. They each picked up a suitcase and then Emilia was dragged inside. All the while, Bessie still had the green facial mask on her face.

"I tidied up the house just for you, dear," Bessie stated. "I just couldn't wait to see you. It's been so long. Here's your room!"

Bessie opened a door to reveal a recently cleaned bedroom. The walls were a dark shade of teal. There was one large window, a queen-sized bed directly underneath it. The blanket and pillows were white in contrast to the walls. Beside the bed, there was a nightstand.

There was also a huge closet and a bookshelf, which Emilia contemplated moving later to create more space. Emilia took the suitcase her godmother held, placing it and the other one on her new bed. She then faced Bessie and smiled.

"Thank you, Bessie. I love it," she said.

"It's no problem, Emilia, I'm so—"

Bessie was cut off by a loud honk! outside. The two women looked out the window to see the moving truck Emilia had hired. A man and a woman exited the truck and began removing boxes. Emilia and Bessie went back outside just as the two were taking out Emilia's treadmill and weight bench.

Bessie silently looked at her goddaughter in surprise, now using a soft towel to remove her facial mask. She didn't realize Emilia was so into fitness. Then, an idea struck her as she watched Emilia help the two movers lift the treadmill.

I wonder what Sportacus would think of her, she thought.

Emilia and the two movers carried the treadmill through Bessie's front door. As soon as they were out of sight, Bessie noticed Stephanie, a few neighborhood children, and Mayor Meanswell approaching.

Stephanie was a young girl, who was constantly dressed in head-to-toe pink and known for being very kind to everyone she met. Stephanie's friends, Ziggy, Trixie, Pixel, and Stingy, were all originally from LazyTown, each of them different in their own way. Milford Meanswell, the Mayor of LazyTown and Stephanie's uncle, was Bessie Busybody's sort-of significant other, though everyone could see the way they felt for one another.

"Hi, Miss Busybody, what's going on?" Stephanie asked, looking around at all the boxes.

"Oh! I guess I forgot to tell you! My goddaughter has come to stay with me for the summer!" Bessie exclaimed.
