It was snowing outside when Sportacus woke up to the sound of his crystal beeping. Someone in LazyTown must be in trouble!
He quickly stood up and descended the ladder from his airship to the town below. He then followed the directions given to him by his crystal. He became nervous when he found himself outside Emilia's house.
"Emilia!" Sportacus shouted. He knocked on the front door of her brightly painted house.
The door opened rather quickly. Emilia now stood in front of him. Her hair was messy and her eyes were wide. She glanced behind her with a nervous expression on her face.
"Sportacus? What are you doing here?"
"My crystal said that you needed my help," Sportacus answered.
"I don't need help, Sportacus. I'm my own hero," Emilia smiled. "Anyway, I hope you have a good day, Sportacus! Bye!"
Before Emilia could close the door completely, a loud crash! came from inside her home. Sportacus narrowed his eyes suspiciously at Emilia, who continued to smile as though she hadn't heard anything. Sportacus quickly moved around her to enter the house.
"Emilia, what is going on—?"
"Sportacus, wait—!"
"Surprise!"
Surprise, indeed. Sportacus looked around the sitting area of Emilia's house to see all his closest friends with wide grins spread across each of their faces.
"What's this? What's going on?" he asked. He turned to look at Emilia, who was smiling as well, though she appeared a little frustrated.
"It's a surprise party," she answered, "but you weren't supposed to be here yet! I was going to come get you when we had finished setting everything up."
"What did I do to deserve a surprise party? This is fantastic!" Sportacus grinned.
"We just thought you deserved a celebration for being the best superhero ever, Sportacus!" Stephanie smiled. "It was Emilia's idea!"
Sportacus looked at all the decorations in the room. Everything was designed after the colors of his superhero costume: blue and white with some touches of gold. He turned to look at Emilia. She was blushing now and trying to avoid his gaze.
"Thank you, Emilia!" Sportacus exclaimed. "This is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me!"
"You're welcome, Sportacus," she replied. Her voice was quiet. She couldn't be—?
"Emilia," Sportacus began, "are you nervous?"
Emilia laughed quietly to herself, before she answered, "There's no need to worry. It's the good kind of nervous."
They both smiled, happy that everything between them had come full circle.
