My mind has been runnin' me crazy these since yesterday. And Eazy is not makin' it any betta.

After I got over the what had just happen he called me last night. At first it was 'bout Fly Rob joinin' his label. It's sad to say that Motown it's still in our hearts but we had leave. It was like people only pay attention to old music and instead of the new music.

Epic,it's doing us some justice but the only reason we're there cause of L.A. Reid offering and Michael's there so of course Nicki was the first to say yes. We couldn't so "no" anyway. Epic is very popular with this era and their audience,so aye why not?

He kissed his teeth. "Man fuck all that. This business wise I'm leavin' the personal shit to the side. I mean I'm comin' at you as business person, as ya baby daddy and as ya lover. Look we can leave that otha shit behind. Now think 'bout it,with since Michel'le left we haven't had much of Rnb music 'round here ya know? Y'all could be the impact of that for Ruthless. Y'all are basically on top of the game and have been since 84."

I sighed. I huffed outta my mouth. "Ion know Eric lemme get some time to figure it out,ok?"

I was expectin' him to catch a attitude but instead of that he said. "Cool with me."

Silence was over the line as I was surfin' through the channels. All I could hear was shufflin' of clothes.

"Where the kids?" He asked in a low and raspy voice.

"They sleep? Why?"

"What you got on?"

Shocked by what I heard,my mouth literally dropped open. "Eric,what the hell?!"

"What? I'm just tryna make this phone call a lil more interesting." He laughed.

"Naw,you ain't slick." I laughed.

"I ain't slick. I'm nasty." He whispered seductively. I could imagine his tongue running over his soft lips as that sly smirk appear on his face.

You right 'bout that,I thought.

I cleared my throat as I started to fan myself. "Um,stop it,Eric." I giggled nervously. "Anyways,how's Tomica?" I asked,tryna change the subject.

"Now Lauren,since when you ever cared 'bout Tomica."

I slapped my forehead. He's right,whenever cared 'bout that trick.

"Hmph,done got caught."

"Shut up,E. The only thing you need to worry is not gettin' caught talkin' to me on the phone."

He chuckled. "Oh you got jokes."

I smirked as my face start to get hot again. "I got enough. Goodnight Eric."

"Ma! Kaleb's here." Evonne screamed from downstairs. I quickly put my lip gloss and brush my fingers through my hair.

I ran downstairs and saw Evonne and Kaleb playin' tag.

I smiled at the moment and leaned against the frame of the door.

Kaleb looked at me and smiled. "Hey you." He wrapped his arm around my waist,pullin' my body closer to his.

I giggled in response. "Hey to you,too."

"How are you doin'?"

"Great and you?" I asked.

"I'm doin' just fine,sweetheart." He peck my forehead as he rubbed my arm. "Ready to go?"

I nodded my head and got my purse.

"Bye baby,be good for grandma,k?" She nodded her head as I gave her a big smooch on the cheek.

I laughed at Kaleb as he was tellin' me 'bout the time his crazy ex pulled out two of his locs.

After we went to see Sister Act 2,we bought some junk food from the store and decided to chill at the park on the swings.

"Yo man then she was like "lemme find out Kaaaalllleeebbb and Ima beat yo ass!" He shook his head and he ate his Doritos while I was cryin' my ass off laughin'.

I calm down. "Well hey look at least they grew back."

"That ain't the point. She didn't have to snatch my locs like though."

I nodded my head as I ate my gummy worms. "True."

"What's the craziest thing your ex did?" He asked.

I shaped my lips in a "o" form. "Oooohh,Ion think you wanna go there,man." Cause have of the craziest shit I went through was with Eazy. They were some bad but also some good.

"Why not?"

I sighed and looked at him. "I'm just not ready to....ya know go that far." God please let this excuse cover me for once.

He flashed me a genuine smile and place his hand on my knee. "Laur,you can take all the time you need."

I ran my hands over his locs as he kissed on my neck softly,he may not be Eric but that's who don't need to focus on right now. Hell I need to focus on my sexual needs.

I gasped softly. "Kaleb." For a minuet or so he continued to put a small peck here or there on my neck and chest.

I threw my head back,enjoying the pleasurable moment. Til that feelin' stop. I shot my eyes open and frowned.

"What the hell? Kaleb why you-" His glare was dead heavy set on this bracelet. A bracelet that was too familiar in my eyes.

"Lauren,what is this?" He asked in a calm manner.

"Oh baby that's just Eric's bracelet." I grab his face divin' back for a kiss but he rudely put his hand in my face.

"I know who it is,what I wanna know is what it's doin' here?"

I scoffed. "Kaleb nothin' went wrong. Eric looked tired and the kids were already sleep,so I offered him to stay the night."

He sat back on the couch and crossed his arms. "Why? That nigga could any where he want to,hell he could even go to a dirty motel and you wanna invite him here."

"You really are bein' selfish right now,Kaleb. Eric is just the father of my kids and that's it." I rolled my eyes at him. "Besides this is my house I can invite whoever the hell I wanna invite,nigga."

He clenched his jaw and looked at me. "Well that's my cue to leave." He got up and snatched his coat and shirt off the couch.

I shook my head. This is gettin' way outta hand. "Wait,Kaleb! There's no need to leave."

"Yes it is! Cause it's obvious you got feelin's for ya ex who did you wrong but when I treat you right,you don't even wanna give me chance."

I crossed my arms and got up in his face. "So what? Lettin' yo tongue all in my mouth and takin' ya shirt off wasn't givin' you chance."

"I don't want chance by fuckin' you,I wanna chance by you lettin' me in your heart and you know that." I lowered my head down as took a step back outta his space.

I didn't have nothin' else to say and I guess he got disappointed with that.

I heard him scoffed and the door slam shut.
