Chapter 3: Worrying about Him?

Rio and Jayden appear. Rio was a large, sleek black wolf. Jayden was a sandy brown wolf and not much smaller. Rio pounces on Zander and knocks him off of me. I watch them start to fight. Rio gets a bad bite to his wrist. I see the anger heat up and Jayden’s eyes. He jumps onto Zander and bites into his neck. He pushed until he heard a snap. Jayden then pushed the body away in disgust.

“You okay Freak?” he asks me. I can barely raise my head. I let my head hit the ground and I pass out.

I felt a weird a weird swaying feeling. I cautiously open one eye. I look up and see Jayden. He was carrying me. Some girls would be touched. I was disgusted. I really couldn’t stand this guy. I glance over and see Rio carrying my bag and clothes. I heard Jayden mumbling.

“Why did we risk getting this freak,” Jayden asks.

“We didn’t risk anything we are both fine,” Rio tells him.

“Your wrist is fine?” he asks. I look over and see the large teeth bites in Rio’s wrist which were healing.

“It’ll heal,” he says.

“I love Nikki and Erin but this freak is too much trouble,” Jayden says.

“She hardly ever causes trouble,” Rio argues.

“Not true. She’s fallen into tons of messes and we always have to clean up,” Jayden argues.

“I think you should kick her out of the pack, she doesn’t do much,” Jayden continues.

“She’s a good fighter,” Rio argues.

“Oh is that why she almost got herself killed by a rouge?” Jayden, sarcasm dripping in his tone.

“Look Jayden she may be a handful but she’s staying. No more discussion,” Rio says sharply in his alpha tone.

“Okay but she’s a pain in the ass,” Jayden mumbles.

“If I’m such a pain in the ass, why did you rush up to save me?” I asked before I could stop myself.

“Oh so you’re awake,” Jayden says in a bored tone.

“Yeah I am,” I say.

“Why were you stupid enough to go looking for that rouge?” Jayden asks.

“I didn’t go looking he found me,” I say defensively.

“Likely story. I know why you did it. You wanted to be accepted you wanted us to be impressed and become your friends,” Jayden says.

“Why would I want a man whore like you as a friend?” I ask.

“You know what?” He asks angrily.

“No I don’t know. Tell me,” I say smirking.

“I hate you! You’re filth!” he yells.

“If I’m filth then put me down.” I didn’t expect it so quickly. Jayden dropped me and I hit the ground. I landed awkwardly on my broken leg.

“You are an arsewhole of a beta!” I yell. Jayden opens his mouth to retort but Rio cuts him off. “That’s enough both of you!” he commands. Jayden closes his mouth and glares at me in hatred. I glare back. Rio reaches down and helps me up. I lean all of weight on him and let him support me. We walk back to the pack house

“Is Freak okay?” Holly asks as she approaches us. Grace appears on Holly’s other side.

“Don’t call her that Holl,” Grace says. She turns to her mate.
