Third Person's POV

By stack of papers, he meant a mountain of papers. Divina was very near on breaking down. It's impossible to finish that paper works within a day.

In her case, she wasn't used to any of it or even familiar to it.

"Is he dead serious?! And I still need to make a summary for all of these! H-he's insane. I won't do this!" She screamed.

--------------

12 midnight.

Luhan couldn't keep his eyes open for another hour. Their dismissal time was 7 p.m, but he had to finish half of the report and presentation for the big project that will commence this week.

He decided to continue tommorow if he wanted to commit less mistakes when doing it.

Luhan drove home safely despite of his sleepy state.

He skipped dinner as usual and he took his warm bath and fell in a deep slumber.

Like his daily routine, he woke up by 4 am. His maids were already awake. He felt like he needed to wake Divina too, so she'll be not late to work.

To his surprise, she wasn't on bed. She checked the bathroom, but there's no presence of her. Her bed was perfectly fixed.

Like no one sleeps on it.

He walked in the kitchen to eat breakfast.

"Have you seen, Divina? What time did she reach home last night?" He asked casually. He wanted to know how serious she was about the work he gave.

The maids looked at each other.

"Didn't you go home together, Sir?" The maid asked politely.

He dropped his utensils on his plate quite loud.

"No. I went home late."

"That's odd. We were awake till 11 p.m, but we didn't see her. Maybe, she didn't go home?" The other maid stated.

"What?"

He dialled her number, but she didn't answer.

"I'm going to work now."

"How about breakfast?" The maid asked because the food was left untouched.

"I'll eat in there."

----------------------

Luhan wished he was wrong. The guards were surprised to see him earlier that he used to. He ran towards her cubicle to check if she was there.

And she is.

With her hair that were slightly messed and her clothes from yesterday that already wrinkled.

The guilt inside of Luhan grew especially when he saw her taking the job seriously to the bones.

"Stop that." He almost whispered. Divina was shocked to see him standing there. She wasn't prepared.

"O-oh... You're back. I'll pass the paper to you by afternoon. I'm almost half-way. I'm sorry for the delay." She massaged the back of her neck and continued working.

"Hit me." Luhan snatched her hand and commanded.

"Why?" Divina asked curiously.

"Hit me!" He shouted and she gasped.

Is he insane?

"I have no strength to hit you." She replied formally, still clueless.

"You don't have to finish those. T-these papers were done." He explained without making an eye-contact.

"What do you mean?"

"Those papers need to be shred because it was long finished. I fooled you. I thought you wouldn't be doing it. I deserve a beating. I know. Hit me." He said while forcing her hand to hit his chest.

"I don't know what to say." She replied lowly.

"I'm sorry." He apologized sincerely.

"But I'm glad it was over. My head pounds like hell. My eyes feel like its carrying a boulder. I'm really hungry." There was a smile plastered on her face that confused him.

"I'm sorry. I can send you home."

"It will be too time consuming. I can go home by myself." Ahe assured, but Luhan wasn't convinced.

"Stay."

"Huh?"

"I mean. You can use my office as your comfort zone. I have a bedroom and a bathroom there." He reminded her.

"That would be convenient for us." She slowly stood up.

"Can you walk?"

"Yeah."

She almost kissed the floor if Luhan didn't catch her. He secured her by hugging her waist and let her fell in his chest.

"You can't."

"I guess so." She chuckled.

He carried her and Divina panicked because of the closure.

"Put me down. I smell bad." She whined while Luhan walked to his office.

"Ugh. You're so heavy." He teased.

"W-what? Put me down!"

"I was joking." And he winked at her.
