Charlie's POV:
I finish walking up the steps. I look at the large metal door then turn the knob. As I walk in, the unmistakable smell of death wafts up into my nose. I immediately gag and cover my nose. I decide to go to the kitchen first, just to see what I will have to deal with. I walk down the huge entry way, there are doors to my left and right. I see stairs at the end off the hallway, but the blood stain on the door to my left intrigues me.
I push the door open with my foot and I have found the dreaded kitchen. Nurse outfits are strewn across the floor. There were maybe six or seven full bodies in here before the crazy cannibal got a hold of them. Now there are only five and a half arms, eight legs, six bashed in skulls, fingers and toes are strewn across the room. I walk over the body parts to the fridge to see if there is anything that I could eat, but when I open the door all I can see is neatly packed bones.
My hand slowly moves from my face as I start to get used to the smell. I look around the room, but decide I'll leave this mess for later. I walk over the body parts out of the kitchen, and I slam the door. I walk up the stairs until I reach the second floor. I open the door to see another hallway with maybe eighteen more rooms, nine on each side. I decide to go higher up the stairs to try and find an attic where myself and Will can stay.
I take one more flight of stairs and then there is an open room with a small sofa, a pool table, a bed, a desk, and a mini fridge.
I walk over to the fridge and to my delight find a half eaten, not quite moldy, bologna sandwich. I fall onto the bed, consume the sandwich in no more than three bites, then fall into a deep dark sleep.
The next morning I decided to draw a little map of the place. The weird old guy said he would be here in two months, so by then I better have the haunted house up and running.
I go over to a little desk by the bed, open a drawer and find some pencils, paper, and a marker. I take some paper and some markers with me as I go down to the second floor.
I open the door to the second floor and start looking at the rooms. I come to find that all of them are exactly identical. They have one cot, one lamp, one window, one desk, and except for the graffiti on everything is white. They all lock on the outside, the windows have bars so you couldn't stick your hand through if you wanted, and on the cot there are two handcuffs for your hands, and two shackles for your feet.
After I'm done writing all of this down, I turn to go downstairs when I see a door on the far side of the hallway. I walk over to see that it is barely noticeable, and it leads to the outside. The stairs leading outside are old, creaky, and missing one step.
"Perfect," I say as I shut and lock the door.
The staircase has walls on both sides with very disturbing pictures of what must have been the patients here. I'm walking down the stairs when I look at the very last picture and see the old guy who told me about this place. He is strapped down to a bed, smiling like a lunatic, while a nurse is giving him a huge shot in his arm. I guess after meeting the guy in person, I should have known he was a crazy.
Down stairs looks a lot different in the light then it does in the dark. The front door is massive, perfect for a huge line of people. When you first walk it there is a large open space and you can choose to go to your left, right, or straight. To your left is the door with the interesting blood stain. I go to my right and find a huge dinning room, big enough to fit at least twenty people. I keep making notes on my paper as I walk into the entryway.
I don't want to deal with the kitchen so I decide to go outside. The porch is fairly large which will be good for selling tickets. The porch steps are a little creaky, but they are very wide.
I walk about fifty feet away from the asylum to take it in in full daylight. It definitely looks creepy. It's huge, brown, and very old. To the left is wheat, to the right is still wheat. The town has the only buildings that are even remotely close, but no one is going to come looking for anything at an old rundown insane asylum. Which also means no people within hearing distance.
Perfect.
Wow! Three parts in like 2 hours? I have all these creative juices flowing from my brain to my fingers which means that I'm typing quite fast.
